Had often driven past Ripples and seen it but this time was able to stop and enjoy a night by Grady Creek. The accommodation was beautifully designed and furnished with lots of little extras. Not many places like Ripples would do a one night stay but for a small surcharge they do. A lovely Creek to swim in, birds and stars to observe, DVDs, books, CDs, continental breakfast provided, chocolates, Tim Tams etc. Very comfortable accommodation, stylish decor, good air conditioning. Would thoroughly recommend Ripples on the Creek for a stay.
Nicely presented cabin in a restful setting, The facilities did not disappoint and the well appointed rooms made it easy to relax and enjoy. Nick, the manager, was excellent too. Thoroughly recommend.
Amazing setting, beautiful views of the flowing creek and mountain range, spa on the balcony is to die for. Perfect for listening to music and stargazing while in your significant others arms. Attention to detail for every aspect of your stay from in room games a dvd player with dvds cd player with cds to cooking oils in the cupboard along with all those little extras you need for cooking there's even candles and bath salts ready to go.
We discovered this amazing slice of paradise mid year and knew we’d have to go back to stay as soon as we could. It feels like the team behind ripples have thought of everything you need and as soon as you arrive you can start to relax. The king size bed is amazingly comfortable and has the loveliest sheets and duvet on, the second you climb in it’s like floating on a cloud. The outdoor bath is an amazing spot to chill out with a glass of wine and take in the cows and birds as well as the babbling of the river. If you’re considering staying, book it now. You will not regret it.
We started the New Year at Ripples on the Creek in the Serenity cabin. Our booking was handled seamlessly, the cabin was clean & well equipped, the location is beautiful. Well worth the drive, it's a beautiful place to relax.
Have Reviewed this previously..... *Still clean & relaxing place to go, * Was a very hot time of year we visited this time (Drought), & was muggy/humid temp. So we took showers, left the spa filled with cool water for extra dips, & went on drives to try to keep cool (for not wanting to run the air conditioner excessively). * There was an addition of fairy lights over the Outdoor Spa on the Patio (which looked pretty at night....especially with the outdoor lights off). * Unfortunately there had been a bush fires or something in the area, & it took out the power lines or something, so we were left without the use of the bar fridge (& relied on the esky we brought until the ice melted away), which was hard as the weather was hot & humid.....however, we did get a visit from the owner to inform us of this & to ask us if we needed some fresh milk (but we just drove to the store). * We had visits a couple of times while there this time from the owner, so it wasn't quiet as private (in the undisturbed manner we experienced last time we visited), so were a little disappointed as it was our Wedding Anniversary~! ** May have been better if there was a way they could have called us before coming there though, to let us know we would have a visit (as I was getting out of the spa one time we got a visit, & the owner had a child with them, so had to wrap myself with a towel....due to my revealing bikinis, & we were not expecting the visit). Apart from these few unfortunate things we had a good time, & overall enjoyed our stay....& I'm sure we will be back again~! (As we have stayed a number of times, & usually those "unfortunate" things don't occur). Thanks Ripples~! ** Perhaps stay when the temperatures are not at the heat wave times of year :) ** The Cottage does have a TV with DVD player (But no TV stations connection, for those addicted to TV shows).....though we didn't care, as we don't watch TV anyway, so we took our own DVD's to watch (as well as downloaded shows on Laptop) for our own entertainment. However, there are provided DVD movies etc there~! We stayed in Feb 2019 (think it was).....but dates on the drop-down only go to April 2019.…
A short drive from Brisbane through gorgeous countryside. Cabin extremely well appointed..attention to detail +++ . No internet or usual TV..( just DVDs but my husband and I didn’t miss it..loved being ‘ off the grid’ for a few days. Will definitely be returning..the bath was the highlight for us..
Beautiful getaway that is good for our souls! The cabin had absolutely everything we could want. The bed was comfortable. Our host Cherie was very accommodating, giving us privacy and being available if we should need something. I highly recommend the additional dinner and picnic hampers. We’ll be back for sure!
Ripples on the Creek was such a lovely weekend away. The trickling creek and rolling hills are such a beautiful setting. We went for a fantastic hike through Boarder Ranges National Park, had a picnic and discovered two water holes for a swim. Wonderful hospitality from Cherie and will definitely be back!
I needed time away from the usual demands of work etc. I booked two nights mid week ans was not disappointed, the location was exactly what I needed, no TV, no mobile reception and a wonderfully tranquil environment. The cabin was nicely appointed and the bed superb. The spar bath was HUGE! I'm 6' and there was plenty of space both length and depth.
