We booked a 2 bedroom unit GOUND FLOOR North facing in November last year. We are both elderly one on a walking stick. On arrival we were given without any notice a top floor South facing unit. it was 32 deg when we arrived & no water was on for a few hours without any explanation. The unit smelt was dirty & dusty. There was so much huge bulky furniture in the unit there was little room even a spare dining chair squashed near the bed.. The balcony was the smallest & the only one with no roof cover. So many chairs & a rusty excercise bike there. we just couldn;t sit out there. The crockery & discusting cultery a charity shop wouldn;t take. There were 4 lights & 2 fans not working. & the iron faulty. Ironing board broken. As for the King size bed with thin QUEEN SIZE sheets on & a heavy WINTER quilt on was unbelievable. This unit witha dining setting for 6/8 people was not what we booked. We reported all this to the office in person & in writing even having to ask for clean sheets wrong size again after 9 days. No appology displayed & nothing fixed so after we had seen inside the other units there quite nice, & speaking to the cleaner who told us they hardly ever do that unit we cut our visit short. We came a long way for this holiday & were so discusted with our treatment. This unit should not be let how it is & is taking advantage of people. We should have at least been advised of the change in the unit & be compensated for THAT UNIT. DO NOT STAY THERE.!!!

Stayed in a two bed apartment on the ground floor. Although we had 8/11 wet days the apartment was big enough for 4 adults to relax without getting under each others feet. The apartment was clean & had everything we needed for our 11 night stay. The beds were comfortable & we got replacement towels & sheets after 7 days. The view of the Cudgen Creek from our balcony was gorgeous. The complex is within easy walking distance of Kingscliff shops & the surf club/hotel. The only negative (if you can call it that) was the lounges are a little old & saggy. My husband had a knee replacement 3 weeks ago & he had a lot of trouble getting off both the lounge chairs & the lounge. He spend most of his time sitting on a dining room chair. There is parking (in a garage) but cost is $20 per night or $100 per stay (if staying over 5 days). The complex is gated with access via pin code. Would highly recommend Sunrise Cove.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful waterfront apartment! The location was the best part. So close to the water and a very short walk into town. It was great fun exploring the surrounds, everything is walking distance. The apartment is airy and has a lovely relaxed beach feel. Lots of room to lounge and enjoy the water views. Only downside, is that the apartment is right above the pool which can get quite noisy.

Just got back a few days ago from a week staying at Sunrise Cove Appartments. We were in room 5. I have not 1 complaint about this beautiful appartment. It was huge and suited our family of 4 brilliantly. Waking up to the lovely view every morning and walking along the boardwalk to get our morning coffees from the Nearby Salt Mill cafe was also great. Having a fully equipped Laundry and kitchen was a big bonus , not that we cooked but everything we needed was there. The lounge and beds were super comfortable and main bedroom was huge. Do yourself a favour and go and have diner at La Burrita Mexican at Salt Village, and a Choux Box in the main drag of Kingscliff for brunch. Both were highlights for us. We rented a paddle board one day too and paddled around the water way outside the appartment. The kids loved that. Would highly recommend Sunrise Cove Appartments, and would definitely stay here again, have already got 2 family members looking at booking to stay here later this year.

Although we booked the Sunrise cove , we were placed next door in the sails complex so this review is on them. Great location, right on the river side, close to shops, restaurants and beach. Walking track right outside. The only downside was the cleanliness of the unit we stayed in, number 3. It needed a good "spring clean"
