We loved our stay with teenagers - beach so close and private made for an easy afternoon activity. AquaPark on site was super fun - even in the moments of chilly, unpredictable April weather. We also enjoyed the easy access to the Kiama Coast Walk - 50 mins scenic walk to the Blowhole (but the Little one along the way was lovely too). An afternoon on the sand and in the waves at East’s Beach was lovely - water was warmer than we expected. Cafe and convenience store had great options and open till 8.30pm was perfect to send the kids for dessert. We enjoyed a BBQ close to our cabin (and cleaned up afterwards) and then most impressed to see it being cleaned by the staff the next morning - great regular maintenance and upkeep. Bins nearby were also regularly emptied and maintained. Our cabin (slept 5) was spacious, well-equipped and so clean - with a great view from the porch. And the beds.....wow - kids and adult had the best nights sleep. Soooo comfy. But make sure you drag yourself out of the comfy bed at least one morning to see the sunrise over the waves. Magic.…
Returned again this year. Had same caravan spot which was fantastic. The grounds are well kept and the facilities were clean and safe. The pool and rec areas we wonderful. The staff were friendly and always helpful. It can be busy on weekends but nice and peaceful during the week. However, the busy crowd were respectful and calm , no bogans. On a lighter side we had some rockers nearby, we only ask that people grow old with grace, you’re not 18 anymore ... but hey we had great time and we’ve booked a 3rd year that should say it all really.
Positives Clean , small clean beach , good for kids. on a coastal path . Pitch was on artificial grass . Negative It was a lot more expensive than other BIG4 parks/holiday parks used and did not seem any better . Its not in Kiama - its in Kiama Heights , 4km away up and over the hill. If you don't mind driving around , all ok but its a big hill to walk / steep to cycle and no locals cafes and pubs. Noisy up to midnight , the leaflet asked for kids indoors at dusk but does not happen. Train line past park produces some noise . electrical equipment in the kitchen seemed well out of date for testing . Sum Up: For sitting under the tarp with the kids running about in a safe environment - its all fine . But for us , too noisy , too packed out and overpriced .
Stayed at this park with a fellow traveler for 4 days from 08/02/21 to 12/02/21 site B48/B49, the park is way overpriced and noisy with a train tracks near the park where you can hear trains running all night , management need to be more courteous to their guests and learn some manners, we had a friend of ours who just want to drop off some personal gear for us and pick up his hearing aid which he lost the previous day , on arrival the front office staff asking him to fill out COVID 19 declaration form which he did then they asked him to pay $40 to enter the park which he told them he is only dropping off our gear and picking up his hearing aid they insisted that he pays , he told them he is not going to pay then came in to our site gave us our stuff and left , then one of the park staff came over and told us they were going to charge our credit card $40 because he came in to the park which we told them to go and jump , So anyone coming to stay in this park make sure to tell all your love ones to stay away or be prepared to pay $20 per person for a visit (what a joke) Stay away from this place go somewhere else where your love ones can visit you without a charge . Never again I am only giving 1 star because I have no other choice but too…
Family absolutely loved staying here. Beach/water park/pool/games room and so much more. We actually extended our stay because we were loving it so much. Facilities great. Excellent park for families. Never a dull moment! We are already planning to come back!
