Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great location, overlooking hilly knolls and pastures down to ocean in background with some spectacular trees etc which made great backdrops and photo opps. Food was good, Service was a bit slow, particularly with drinks. Overall great location.

Bush Bank is not a hotel. It is the most amazing venue for a wedding. Not only is it in such a beautiful location with outstanding views, it is run and managed by a first class team. The accommodation, 3 doubles in the cottage, yours from midday Friday until midday Sunday, is just what is required in the lead up to a big wedding and perfect for relaxing after the event. The catering team provide excellent food, however you require it, a sit-down meal or substantial canapés for the occasion. Everything has been thought of. Our wedding was in September 2015 and as the mother of the bride, I appreciated the effort that had gone into the occasion to make it just wonderful for everyone. Thank you Sonya and Terry, you have created pure perfection!

From the main road you could blink and miss it but this wonderful estate is a pleasant and inviting place for a get away. From the minute you drive through the gate the heritage style homestead and gardens are a sight to be seen and experienced. The owners Sonya and Terry are friendly, welcoming and provide outstanding rooms with the comforts of home. Breakfast was a full home cooked meal which also included a selection of fresh seasonal fruit. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again in a heartbeat.

Stayed two nights last weekend. Great hospitality by Sonya and Terry. Sonya cooked some fantastic breakfast for us. Drove around Kiama. It's really a nice place, not too many tourists. Weather was good too, we really had a good time.

We spent two nights at this lovely B&B for our wedding anniversary. We were warmly welcomed by Sonya and Terry and made to feel at home in this delightful, country home. The gardens and views are beautiful and I watched the sunrise on the water from our own verandah. We were made to feel like old friends. A lovely experience!

My partner and I recently had a wedding at bush bank. It was the perfect location for our large wedding. The food was abundant, the view was stunning and all facilities were spot on. All of our guests had a great time. I cannot recommend bush bank enough. Thankyou Sonya and Terry for treating us like family.

Our room had an amazing view of the sea and rolling hills and fields; it was breathtaking. We were made to feel very welcome and invited to walk around the grounds and outbuildings which had been sympathetically restored. Sonya helped with recommending where to eat in the evening and what we should visit on our onward journey. Bush Bank is a lovely property with very comfortable rooms.

What can we say ... Perfect like going back to when I watched the Sullivans . Had four wonderful days wish we could have moved in. I really couldn`t recommend this bed and breakfast and our lovely host any higher, they made us feel so welcome it was just like visiting family we had not seen for ages. I would just like to say I have never written a review before as I have never been taken back by such lovely host and a fantastic house Sonya and Terry a big thank you for making our honeymoon the best ... Thank you for our lovely picture that Terry had taken of us it is now in a frame and as pride of place Hope to see you again x x

After a gruelling week of being in Sydney for a business seminar, I headed down to Kiama for a getaway/R&R... And wished that I didn't have to go back home to Perth! I have travelled to many places around the world but this is definitely one of Australia's best hidden secrets. This quaint historic property is set on top of the hill with stunning water and hill views. They also have cows and some really cute calves that were running around and playing with each other. Sonya and Terry are delightful hosts and very warm and welcoming. Sonya's food is delicious too, which comes as no surprise as she used to be a professional! After all that running around in Sydney at a seminar running from 8:30 - 7/8pm, its no wonder this place was a true breath of fresh air. It was so relaxing that needless to say, I was very reluctant to leave! I would definitely come back here.. hopefully some time soon. :-)

Lovely location and friendly/helpful staff - Bush bank was perfect for our small wedding (The only only venue that would cater for our wedding of only 20 guests). Everything went flawlessly! Highly recommended.
