We dropped in here for lunch after visiting Snowy Hydro #2 power station (see separate review). This is good honest pub food. We had the seafood basket & the porterhouse steak. Both were cooked to perfection. The only reason I could not rate this place higher is because the chips were cold, which is something that should not happen.

Starting with the good - the pub dinner and breakfast were very good. The hotel rooms are in need of a lick of paint and a little bit of general maintenance. The rooms are comfortable enough, clean, and provide the essentials. It is a pity the accommodation has a run down feel about them as it detracts from an otherwise...

We booked this motel on line without knowing the area and after reading some good reviews. Frankly, we were disappointed with the room, the carpet was filthy and it smelt musty. The room was large and the bathroom was okay but it was in need of a really good renovation scheme. Having said that, the restaurant dinner was excellent, the...

Didn't stay here but had dinner here. Old school pub with buffet salad/veggie bar to top up your main with. Seems to be the centre for workmen in the local area to eat. Friendly service, dated decor but adds to the charm of the place. Awesome Parma & good wine!

We dropped into the Khancoban Alpine Inn for lunch. The bar tender was very friendly and took out orders. We noticed that they had a Kosciusko Pale Ale on tap and she was happy to give us a sample. It was a great brew so we ordered a couple. My husband and I had the fish and chips which came...

We had dinner here on an overnight stay. The satay chicken parma was very good, my brother also enjoyed his meal. The barstaff are very friendly and the beer good and cold. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We did not stay at the inn but ate at the restraunt.

Accommodation probably Ok for some but the rooms really need attention, unless you really need to I would suggest Cooryong rather than staying here. Meals in the pub are good, well priced and well cooked with both hot and cold buffet available for your sides.

Enjoyed the food and beers here. The salad bar was excellent - you helped yourself once you'd picked up your meal. Slightly gruff landlady - kind of felt like we were being told off while ordering the food! Some menu items weren't available in the evening e.g. burgers which seemed a little bit strange. When the food came we were...
