My second visit to CCM & I knew it was just the place to relax and unwind for a weekend away. The property is just beautiful with lovely meandering paths through citrus groves, past creeks and gardens, wombat burrows and fields. We were very lucky to see the change of autumn leaves. Although it was 8 years between visits the cottages are still beautifully maintained with a combustion fire, big deep bath and the most comfortable of beds! I recommend going for the deluxe package with the best breakfast ingredients - you cannot beat freshly laid eggs. There is lots to do in the area if you are inclined to leave the property. Take a good book, leave the devices at home and enjoy your trip back to nature.

My wife Jenni and I were looking for places around Kangaroo Valley to celebrate our 26th Wedding Anniversary, but every time we went to book they were already booked out. Thankfully and as fate may have it, due to a cancellation Crystal Creek Meadows popped up in Jen's browser with a vacancy for our dates. We then booked the deluxe package in for three nights.

From the moment we booked and received our welcome kit, right through to the minute we left, we both fell in love with with Crystal Creek Meadows.

We had the pleasure of meeting Sophie (owner) and Monika. Both were so welcoming, helpful and truly have passion for ensuring Crystal Creek Meadows stands out above the rest.

When we arrived at our accommodation (The Billabong Cottage) we walked around in awe at the detail and personal touches throughout.
We have truly never and so relaxed in our life and felt like we were the only two people around for miles.

Having time to spend as couple without distraction is something we all need, but not somethings many of us get these days. We truly thank Crystal Creek Meadows for giving this to us.

Many things in life help to bring couples closer together and this little gem certainly did that for Jen and I.

We both cant wait to visit again

Steve and Jenni

Dear Steve and Jenni, thank you so much for the lovely review. I am so pleased you found us and had a wonderful anniversary here. It is so important to get time for each other, and increasingly so difficult in our busy lives, so I am glad you managed to just relax and enjoy each other's company. We look forward to welcoming you both again. All the best, Sophie

This little oasis just outside of Kangaroo Valley is absolutely gorgeous! We stayed in the Billabong cottage overlooking a serene billabong, where we would have our breakfast on the verandah and laze the afternoon away on the hammock. The kitchen was well equipped, the loungeroom cosy with a wood combustion fireplace, our bedroom spacious and comfortable, and to top it all off, a large bathroom complete with an enormous bath to relax in with a selection of crystals. What bliss!!!
Sophie and Christopher welcomed us and provided us with lots of tips about walks and places to visit. We used their bikes and enjoyed leisurely rides, even info the village for our morning coffee. You definitely should stroll around the grounds as there are plenty of fruit trees in their orchard to select a delicious apple or orange for a snack.
Sophie also organised a meat tray from the local butcher for us, which we could cook on their Weber bbq.
I cannot speak more highly of Crystal Creek Meadows!!

We stayed in Billabong Cottage for three nights, choosing the Green Escape Package. We enjoyed the luxurious cottage, its beautiful billabong setting, and the delicious local food which came with the package. Everything in the cottage is of high quality and everything worked perfectly. The grounds are creatively landscaped so that all cottages are private, and walking around the property is interesting and enjoyable. We did this walk each afternoon. When we were there (in early December) the many pink grapefruit trees were abundant with fruit, which we were encouraged to pick for our breakfasts - they were delicious! The eco-friendly approach in the planning and running of Crystal Creek Meadows is unobtrusively woven through the whole experience of staying there. We found Crystal Creek Meadows perfect in every way.

Had an AMAZING two night stay in Billabong Cottage to celebrate my husband's birthday. We got the deluxe tariff (highly recommend) and the day spa indulgence package (also highly recommend). We loved everything about this place, the cottage is beautiful and homely, the bath tub is luxe and the fire place made it extra cosy. The food supplied is fresh and of great quality. We brought our 7 month old baby with us, a cot and high chair was kindly set up for us (they even placed a freddo frog on the pillow in his cot - love those fine thoughtful details). They have a huge DVD collection to choose from. On our second night we dined in on the curries they had ready on hand in the freezer, they were superb, restaurant quality!
We really loved our stay here and felt very relaxed (the in room massages were just heaven). Also, need to mention the delicious homemade scones and biscuits - I craved more!

It’s not often we revisit holiday destinations, but for us this visit was the third time our family had stayed at Crystal Creek Meadows and this time was just as special as the last two. This pretty property is in a perfect location to explore the area, but so peaceful and relaxing and with heaps to do for kids of all ages. We visited in January 2020 just after the devastating bushfires had come close to destroying this beautiful valley. We came because wanted to show our support for Sophie and Chris and the businesses of the Kangaroo Valley who work tirelessly to make this destination such a special place for visitors. We were rewarded with beautiful experiences and a warm welcome from a community that was evidently struggling in the aftermath of the fires. We would urge visitors to return to this area and experience this beautiful place. Crystal Creek Meadows is a perfect place to stay. It gets our top score for supporting the community by offering lots of local produce in the Deluxe Package food hamper and ensuring that their impact on the environment is only positive, showing others that you don’t have to compromise luxury to be eco-friendly.

Thank you for your lovely review. It is wonderful to know that you all enjoyed your stay here so much, and we sincerely thank you for coming to support our wonderful community after the terrible NSW fires. Kangaroo Valley is such a beautiful spot and has so much to offer guests. Our environment is very important to us, and we are pleased you have enjoyed a wonderful break while helping us to make as minimal an impact on the environment as possible. All the best to you and your family, we look forward to having you stay again. Warm regards, Sophie

What a wonderful place this is! We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and couldn't have picked anywhere better.
The owners are wonderful to have a chat to when you want to, are super helpful when you have questions, but also let you have your own time.
The location was great as it let us explore many towns in the area.
The property is beautiful with lots of wildlife.
The wood fire heater was very cosy and warm, and created a wonderful ambiance.
The food (we had the deluxe tariff) was fantastic and quite generous. They were also able to cater to our dietary requirements.

A peaceful, romantic haven - a perfect place to escape from the city chaos

We had the most wonderful stay at Crystal Creek Meadows, the whole property is just so beautiful and our cottage was perfect for our romantic getaway. We got the deluxe package and meat tray and it was worth every dollar (especially the scones and jam). Sophie made us feel so welcome and we immediately felt at home when we arrived, we can’t wait to come back for another holiday soon!

We loved our stay at Crystal Creek celebrating our first wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Jolly Jumbuck which was nice and private, the room was far bigger than we expected or that the pictures let on. The deluxe hamper included morr then enough food and the massage was relaxing. Loved the addition of the Green Butler to keep track of your emissions. We will definitely be going back!

Hi Alex. There are 4 cottages on the property which can be rented out. The 2 largest accommodate 4 + baby and 5 + baby, so depending on your family configuration, that could work, or you can book a 2 person cottage as well.
