We had a lovely visit to the Kangaroo Valley area (which is absolutely stunning!) and enjoyed our time in the area. We stayed at The Loft with extended family including a toddler and felt it was unsuitable for him due to safety- lots of opportunities to fall down / through gaps in stairs/ climb up or fall off the outdoor terrace so it wasn’t very relaxing! The animals were scarce and the views blocked due to big hedges. The children loved playing with the dogs who were friendly and pottered about. We enjoyed the outdoor games and having a washer and dryer was very handy during our stay.

This is a beautiful farm, the setting is stunning and the accommodation in the loft was cute. Unfortunately the farm is run down , there were only 2 chickens , no eggs in sight and the hen house was overgrown with weeds. The ducks were in the same state. The one alpaca was disappointing. The Galloway cows were the highlight but the lack of all the other animals made our stay disappointing. It is extremely expensive for what they are offering and it’s a pity some of this money is not put into the animals and their environment. I treated my family to this farm stay but very, very disappointed with the lack of animals.

A beautiful location, but pretty disappointing on the "farm stay" front. Not a lot of animals and the chickens don't look like they've laid an egg in years. We had to plant eggs that we had bought so that the kids weren't disappointed. The bed are terribly uncomfortable, so not much sleep was had by anyone in our group.

Spent a lovely weekend in the Loft with family friends. The Loft was a gorgeous and provided all we could ever need. Our kids, ages ranging from 2-7 had the most amazing time running around, patting, feeding the animals and waiting for the chickens to lay eggs. The walks around the farm were spectacular. We'll definitely be back.

We have stayed twice now in The Loft - the first trip was so successful we just repeated it, with even greater success! Our little kids (5, 3, 1) absolutely loved pottering about feeding the goats, checking for eggs, playing in the playground as we watched the sunset over the valley. The farm is gorgeous and we went on lots of walks and found ancient trees and wombat holes. The cottage is a perfect size for our young family, my Mum even joined us the second time and we were all very comfortable. Comfortable beds and reverse cycle aircon made for a restful stay. They provided a high chair and porta cot. We can't wait to stay here again.

Room Tip: The Loft feels really private from the other cottages, and has a wonderful view over the valley.

We had a wonderful few days staying at Budderoo House. It was perfect for our extended family of 12 with lots to do for the kids around the farm including feeding the goats and collecting eggs. You can wander around the farm to see the cows and relax by the creek. The kitchen and lounge room are great for a large group. I recommend bringing your groceries as the options in town are limited.

We stayed in the Loft, it's charming and pretty much as the website shows it. It has a great kids playground out front and a lovely balcony with view pretty much in all directions. It's nice and close to town, under 5 mins drive. Plenty of animals for the kids to fall in love with too, Jodie (Bruce) the goat was a family favourite. The kitchen is well equipped, we managed to do a Christmas in July feast in it including a huge roast chicken, glazed ham and all the trimmings. Only thing to keep in mind with the loft is that it's fairly loud, sound travels through it very easily, however that is made up for by the setting and ambiance. We had a great stay.

My family of 4 had a much needed break from city life at Minimbah farm cottages. We stayed in the "cottage" which is rustic, although well equipped and comfortable for the 4 of us. My young boys aged 3 & 5 were in heaven with the large garden (with cubby house, swing set & outdoor toys) the chickens, who provided plenty of eggs to collect, the goats, sheep, lambs, and alpacas always happy to see us and eat the food which is provided. The farm is quiet (as one would expect, but for us city slickers, it was SO quiet!) serene and offers a relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is close to Kangaroo Valley which is a gorgeous little town with shops and cafes, and about 20 minutes to Berry, which is full of many delights. There is no WIFI but I guess that is to be expected....?

Beautiful place with a real 'wow' factor. We stayed at the cottage mid week for 3 nights with our 3yr old & 1yr old & I wish we stayed longer. All the accommodation is beautiful & very private & there's so much to do (or not do). We'll be back again. Great for the kids.
