Great spot. Lovely green lawn! Very busy over the weekend yet managed to find an ideal spot in the Troopie; Spotlessly clean showers and toilet: unfortunately laundry was disappointing as very dirty and only 1 top Loaded: get some front loaders would be ideal and clean it for the price you charge: we came 1 week prior and laundry was dirty then, still dirty…

My husband & I decided on a last minute trip to Kangaroo Valley this weekend. Of course it was booked out but I decided to leave my number just in case. Kerry called me to say there had been a cancellation so we jumped in the car straight away & are SO glad we did. The staff are welcoming and friendly and happy to give advice on the area. This camp ground is set against paddocks and valleys, with so much room and privacy. We will definitely be back again, even better the pub is 5 minutes walk down the road.

Our family of five (3 kids 4 years and under) stayed here for 3 nights recently. We pitched a tent on an ensuite sight. The ensuite was quite new, 1 of 2 available built within a couple of years. We didn’t use any other amenities, they looked dated but still in quite good condition. The campsite was fitting with a fire pit, it’s not camping without a fire pit. There wasn’t a concrete slab or synthetic turf to set up on which was the only reasons I didn’t give 5 stars. We set up on a mix of grass and dirt but it was ok as we only had a little bit of rain. The pool was great, a few farm animals which the kids loved. Playground was good and they also had a old school putt putt course. Staff were all awesome, great friendly customer service. We’ll be back!!
It’s located with 1kms from the quant township of Kangaroo Valley too

This park has quite a few good points. For instance, facilities for kids is good .. mini golf, bouncing "thing", a swimming pool and an entertainment room. The aspect for most camping is also good, as campers can look to the open fields at the back towards the river and is shady. The large central cooking/eating openair shelter was also quite useful, but the small kitchen attached to it was very small, had one toaster, two power points and a kettle but no place to keep water on the boil, except on a bbq hotplate, which was good for frying but not for keeping a pot of water on the boil.. The cabin accommodation is an entirely different kettle of fish. The old boxes called cabins are like a sauna on a hot day and well into the evening. No amount of effort can cool them down. We couldn't stay inside them at all during the day. The layouts are odd and impractical. There is no separate room for the main bed. The kitchen area has no stove. Some boxes have air-conditioning which was hit and miss as to whether it worked apparently. The fly screens were nearly all broken. Our cabin smelt of cigarette smoke from someone before us. The windows were not lockable, the door to the tiny "bathroom" couldn't be opened fully because the toilet was in the way. None were big enough to have a decent sized balcony for outdoor dining. The microwave was ancient and didn't work fully. The fridge was old and did not freeze our freezer bricks in the whole time we were there. They were supposed to handle upto five, but you'd have to leave your gear outside to have space to move without tripping over, and there wasn't five chairs anyway. In my opinion, this accommodation is money for old rope. For a minimal cost, each "box" could have a solar panel on its roof to run an extractor fan, but little effort has gone into updating these cabins. They are very basic ... a pity really. The proprietors need to effectively cool all these small boxes down significantly and rethink the space and the outdated equipment inside to make the experience value for money.

Spent a lovely weekend camping with friends in an ensuite site, same place last year. Last year I suggested to the staff on-site it would make our stay so much better if they installed a drop down shelf in the ensuite. This year its not a suggestion but a recommendation!! A shelf in the bathroom for toiletries, perhaps a basket on the wall for clothes and hooks on the outside of the doors....hook inside toilet door, why??? All these things are inexpensive but imperative to improve the experience of staying at lovely Glenmack.

Recently stayed here over New Year. The Staff couldn’t be more accomodating or helpful. Park was clean and well maintained. Facilities are great and the entertainment for the kids was awesome. Putt putt Golf, jumping pillow, playground, fabulous warm pool plus a petting Zoo. Close to walk to town. Best of all our fur baby loved her holiday. Mick, Esther and Slippers 🐾

We stayed a couple of nights at Glenmack Park with our motorhome on a powered site. We enjoyed the tranquil surrounding and the beautiful view from our site. It was the first time we took our dog camping and we had no issue with her. It was lovely to have the show ground next to the park for an early morning walk with the dog. It was great to be so close to the village of Kangaroo Valley. Even though the amenities are very clean, there are looking dated and could do with an update. On another note, I think it would be great if management could discourage people from smoking at the park. Unfortunately we had smokers on both sides of our site. We will be back and next time we will use the pool which looks great (weather was not good this time!)

My family of 4 stayed here with our friends who are a family of 5. Our powered van site was great. We loved the provided fire pits. The facilities were a little dated but very well kept. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again.

I stayed Glenmack Park over the long weekend with my husband and two of our friends. Let me start by saying the camp grounds are very lush and pretty, the amenities quite good and all the staff had been nice- except for one. This one employee or “owner” as he liked to boast ruined our time on the last night of our stay. It was just before 8pm and this man approached us and asked us to turn our music down (which is more than fair enough, although we had put up with very loud music and screaming kids at 6am from the neighbours, we still would not have liked to be a nuisance to others) to which we turned it down straight away and apologised for any disturbance. His response to our apologies? “Good because I WILL throw you out in the middle of the night”. We were shocked and taken aback at the hostility after we had just apologised, we said “Ok… there’s no need to be hostile we have just apologised and said that we will turn it down…” to which he started on a rant “yeah well I know the type of people YOU are, I’ve been doing this for 14 years, etc.”. We had previously been talking about how we would like to come back to this campsite, however as he was walking away I turned to my friends and said in response to our previous conversation “well now we won’t be coming back”. He stormed back like a stroppy child, got in my friends face saying there’s no need for the comments- to which I pointed out it was I who had said the comments. So then he tried to kick us out then and there… You could tell this man obviously had a complex and was determined for a fight so he could kick us out, he so badly wanted to get a rise out of us but I’m sure was disappointed when we wouldn’t give into his childish ways. We camp (and travel) quite often and have never had any issues, I have never been spoken to like this in my life and I do not appreciate the stereotype discrimination of “the type of people you are” to which I’m guessing had something to do with the fact that we were younger people (mid-late 20’s) as he was determined to assert his authority. We are very respectful individuals and I suggest when dealing with a situation like this in the future, you do not assume you know people and actually approach the situation like a civilised adult.

We stayed at Glenmack Park over the Australia Day long weekend (3 nights). We've never camped here before and chose the location because we could take our small dog and campfires are permitted (we love a campfire cooked feed). The park is very well presented with permanent and holiday mobile homes/cabins to one side and a lovely camp ground circling a pond, very pretty. We really liked the flexibility of being able to choose our own campsite and for only $28 per night makes for a great budget get away. The park is very quiet and is situated within a short walking distance to the village of Kangaroo Valley where there is a general store and a few speciality stores and cafe's. The amenities at the park where a big highlight for me (when camping I have very basic requirements). The showers had normal shower heads, not those skinny jet nozzles, and constant hot water even when someone else was using the water. Big ticks! Our days where spent visiting local townships like Berry (great speciality shops) and sightseeing. Be sure to visit the Flat Rock Falls and Cambewarra Lookout. The only downer for us was that we where not able to access the river. We felt certain that we must be able to as the park rents kayaks. When asked how we get to it the reception gave us a map with directions and once we walked to the bank of the river there was no access without a kayak let alone with one. Maybe we where in the wrong spot (?) We paid a visit to another large camping ground in the area and with the limtied amenities and congestion that where there we think that Glenmack Park was the better choice by far. Thanks for the free Aussie Day breakie BBQ guys. We'll be back!

We paid AUD190/- for an A/C Cabin Suite over the weekend for a couple during off-peak season. You would have to contact management for how much it would cost you depending on the type of accommodation you choose and if it is the peak or off-peak season. They may have a few different options they could discuss with you.
