The tiny coastal village of Iluka is a tranquil hideaway surrounded by the magnificent Clarence River, vast, unspoiled beaches, and the World Heritage-listed Yuragir National Park. It’s a peaceful and secluded haven for fishermen, surfers, nature lovers, and families. Iluka Riverside Holiday Park is on the banks of the river, right in the heart of Iluka. You can fish from the Park’s pontoon – or anywhere along the Park’s long riverfrontage. Fresh seafood abounds and you can whip up a feast in the camp kitchen or cook the day’s catch on the Park’s riverside BBQs. Wander through the lush manicured gardens, take a stroll down to the beach, or just kick back and take in the sunset. Make Iluka your holiday secret…

Stayed 4 days on a riverfront site. This park is in a great location on the river a short ferry ride to Yamba.

Would really recommend it to anyone looking for a value for money park that is still the old friendly style family park.

We travelled down on Thursday and departed Sunday, just a few days of R & R. The reception staff are always very helpful and pleasant. the park is situated very close to all the Iluka shops and even Sedgers Reef, the historic pub in Iluka is only a short walk away along the River.

The park grounds are kept very neat and tidy as are the amenities, there are great views of the river with spectacular sunsets if you manage to grab them,

We had a wonderful stay at Iluka! After explaining our trip to QLD was cancelled Jeff the manager was kind enough to squeeze us into a lovely camping spot for 4 nights - even upgrades us to a wonderful site with river views! He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Amazing amenities and location next to the ferry terminal meant we could see all this beautiful area had to offer including long sunsets and wildlife by the river. This place is a must !!

We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights and it was filthy. We couldn’t believe it had actually been cleaned. There was a mop and brush by the toilet for guests but the housekeeper obviously doesn’t know how to use them. I accidentally dropped something and it went under the bed, when I went to retrieve it out come three pieces of stale bread. When I shone a light under the bed it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since it was first put there. I swept the floor and by the time I finished I had enough dirt to fill a dustpan. The whole cabin had never been dusted and the top of the shower was filthy. The air conditioning was thick with dust and made so much noise we had to turn it off, thank goodness it wasn't mid summer. The exhaust fan in the shower was clogged with thick black dust so not sure how that was working. The bed base was black with marks so I would hate to think what the mattress was like. We have stayed in another cabin prior and I had to clean it from top to bottom before we unpacked. We thought this was a once off so just let it go but it’s obviously the standard. I think the Manager needs to inspect his cabins because his cleaner obviously doesn’t care about cleaning nor insuring a safe and hygienic clean against our current climate. Unfortunately I couldn’t put all the photos on as they were too large to upload.

My wife and I spent a week at Iluka Riverside Holiday Park. We spent a week at this park last year and loved it so much we had this return visit.
The park is located next to the Clarence River, and our caravan site fronted the river.
This is an old caravan park with only basic, but well kept amenities. The location is great as just outside is a Chemist, a butcher and a baker. The pies and sausage rolls at the bakery are very good, and the butcher has a great selection of meat. There is a small supermarket only a short walk away, close enough to carry the groceries back.
Just up the road is the Fisherman's Coop, where you can get all sorts of fresh seafood. Well worth a drive to get that feed of fresh prawns!
Also, there is a pub an easy walk around the riverfront away. The old, original pub has been demolished but there is temporary 'pub' with a nice selection of food and drinks. Looking forward to seeing the new pub when it is finished1

It is possible to get a ferry to Yamba, again a short walk to the ferry wharf, but other than that there is no entertainment in Iluka. This suits us fine, as we can relax and vegetate without crowds of people, and very few children.

We are very happy to recommend this caravan park to anyone who enjoys the quiet plus having services within walking distance.

Spent a week here and were spoilt by the serenity, calm, quiet with all amenities in walking distance. Stayed in Cabin 75 with amazing views over the water. Visited by dolphins passing each day and the occasional turtle. Plenty of flathead and bream for all. An abundance of yabbies on the foreshore. Cabin was basic but had all the essentials for an easy stay. Lovely hot shower and standard fridge to house a good supply of groceries. IGA, bakery, chemist, cafe, servo, bait shop, bottle shop and ferry to Yamba all within 300-500m walk. Rainforest walk a must. A great place to escape the rat race.

We are finishing up a 6n stay at Iluka Riverside and its been absolutely amazing. We had a waterfront site that was near the jetty. The girls have had an absolute ball from fishing, jumping off the jetty, SUP and swimming at the roped of inlet. The cabins are also pretty good. Great deck. The sunsets and the location are just perfect. Two min walk to IGA or locally owned bottle shop, butcher, bottle shop and bakery. We will definitely be back.... sites are an excellent size with slabs.

I have never had a more relaxing holiday. The kids are constantly fishing, swimming or riding and not nagging us to take them anywhere as everything is in close proximity. We can enjoy afternoon drinks as everything is within walking distance including supermarket, bakery, butcher, chemist, bottle shop, Bowling Club and Sedger’s Reef Hotel. Amenities are clean, tidy and close. The views, atmosphere and wildlife are second to none. In just 4 days we have seen two pods of dolphins go by our door, enjoyed the company of the resident lizards and even seen two turtles surface in the river. There are also plenty of great fishing spots on offer. Unbeatable holiday destination if you are after a slow paced, relaxing and picturesque getaway!

We parked our van on the riverside. A beautiful quiet location with sunsets over the water with dolphins swimming daily right next to our camp. Great fishing and a pub a short stroll down the path. Stayed 10 days and could have stayed forever.
