Detailed Reviews
We booked last minute and lucky enough to get a camping site at such a busy time of year. So happy with our choice to camp here. The facilities were always clean the pool is a great addition especially with a toddler. There is a separate bathroom with has a bathtub and shower which is great for families with very young children - you just need to get a separate key from reception for it.
The staff were friendly and helpful and I will definitely be staying there again and will recommend to all my friends 🙂😇

Just spent a great week away at this gem! The staff at Anchorage were warm and welcoming and we felt at home right away. Even the family dog got a lovely greeting! Often accommodation will say "pet friendly" when they really should say "we accept pets but we dont actually like them". The park provides dog bags, lots of grassed areas to sniff and walk and a place to clip your pooch when you visit reception.
The facilities at Anchorage are all fresh and well maintained. The gardens are beautiful, the pool is spectacular (too cold for us but there were some kids brave enough!), amenities blocks are clean and well kept (lovely shower heads) and our cabin had everything we needed (including a huge bath to soak in when the baby was in bed!).
Everything in Iluka was a short walk away, lovely places to eat, kayak and fish, so much to do!
The best part of our stay was the friendly staff. Nothing was difficult or too big of an ask. (Having a toddler, we asked for everything and the kitchen sink). Everyone said hello when they past, asked how our day was going and was happy to help in anyway possible.
The dayspa was incredible! I had a lovely massage which really put the icing on the cake for me!
We will be booking ahead and returning next year, thats for sure! Hopefully the weather is as beautiful next time as it was this time!
Thank you all for a lovely stay! Our first family holiday was a wonderful experience thanks to your lovely hospitality!

Staff are friendly & do their best to accomodate your needs
Nice little spot(not so central) but we liked that. Courtesy buses were running to different places I:E Club, pub
Our cabin was immaculate & well equipped with essential needed gear with a full sized fridge/freezer. Various BBQ's in the park with cover + seating for a gathering of family/friends if needed. Lovely camp kitchen~Pool + spa & small wading pool for little ones
Were very Covid conscious & rule abiding
Already booked & returning next year

We booked 2 nights and could not stay we ended up leaving after we went to go to bed and found black hairs and blood on our pillow and a hair tie in our supposed to be clean bedding. When telling the owners they said they found it hard to believe and got hostile and angry and refused to give a refund i even sent an email with pictures proving it. If it wasn’t that i still wouldn’t return or recommend anyone stay they need to get rid of there outdated linen with granny itchy blankets it’s not inviting at all definitely not worth the money was a rip off. I’ve seen more water come out of a bubbler than there shower head. All round pretty awful experience. I probably wouldn’t of resorted to writing a review if they had of been half decent and communicated with us and apologised not just said they found it hard to believe. So i repeat don’t waste your money they are horrible cabins as horrible owners/ managers that obviously hate there job and shouldn’t work with people so take your money and go to Yamba.

A caravan park that offers spotless facilities, friendly & helpful staff and the opportunity to view pelicans against spectacular sunsets over the delta at Iluka. All this, plus walking trails through a pristine rain forest to surf and beautiful beaches. A great spot that provides respite in these troubling times.

There is an area where you are provided with a fire pit & you can purchase a bag of wood if required or seek out your own wood in the bush. The camp kitchen is quite close to these sites with all facilities available plus heating for cold nights. Very comfortable in deed.

We stayed here on respite with a young man with autism. He loves washing machines and cleaning and the cleaner, Angie, was very kind and patient as he watched her clean for 2.5 hrs. The staff were accommodating with many requests that helped us manage his emotional regulation. I am thankful to them for being so inclusive of all members of our divers community.

All good except for the garbage wheely bins located adjacent to the power, water & sullage point. Something very stinky in it when we arrived, plenty of flies trying to get in. Not emptied during our stay and the flies used our motorhome as a close port of call. We would prefer garbage bins be located near the amenities block or similar as in most good parks.

Hello Anchorage Team
Just wanted to say thank you for our recent caravan stay. We found the Park to be well maintained, professionally run and a pleasure to stay, in safe, comfortable and very pleasant surroundings. Everything was very clean and well cared for, and we have no hesitation in recommending and hopefully returning. Will look forward to the lovely pool being open post covid, and enjoying another coffee! Thanks again.

Hi, where is it best to take the family for a day or two at the beach? Preferably a patrolled beach?
There is a surf beach out the front, but the inlet is best for kids
