Kate and Steve are absolutely wonderful hosts; they cannot do enough for you, and go over and beyond helping you to have the best stay with all the information you might need on their beautiful part of NSW.
The accommodation is absolutely delightful with everything one might need, and if not, and are able, are very happy to provide.
The attention to detail is above and beyond; all the little 'extras' that help make the stay a little bit more special eg. coffee machine, a big selection of teabags, milk and big ice cold bottle of water awaiting you in the fridge. Steve even made us coffees each morning from his 'monster' machine in his own kitchen which were delicious. They have taken advantage of the space provided in each room to maximise space for you belongings, both in the bedroom and the bathroom which I find lacking in many places, especially the bathroom.
And to finish off, if you fancy a chat, they are really lovely, and very interesting to engage with!
They are very laid back, and nothing is a bother.
Would highly recommend this B&B.

We loved our night at Huskisson B&B! Kate’s hospitality was second to none from the moment we arrived. She showed us around her beautiful property and invited us to help ourselves to a huge range of amenities and little luxuries. Our room was cosy, clean and beautifully made up and had all of the creature comforts of home and more! The B&B is in walking distance of everything Huskisson has to offer, and Kate was incredibly generous in the amount of information and helpful local tips she gave us. Breakfast was delicious and again...incredibly generous! We loved enjoying our food and a lovely cup of tea and coffee out on the gorgeous garden veranda. This area is well and truly open for business and there is no need to stay away! Come and support these amazing business and kind, hard working people. Huskisson B&B gets 5 stars from us!!

If you are visiting Huskisson on the South Coast you have to stay at this cosy comfortable quaint BnB. Kate and Steve are the most welcoming of hosts and a wealth of knowledge of the local area. The Verandah Room is such a beautifully decorated room with a wonderful comfy bed. The house is walking distance to the beautiful Jervis Bay and the Huskisson Village with great places to relax and eat. 10 out of 10

I cannot fault this beautifully fairly newly renovated accommodation ... my son and I had a fantastic experience with Kate and Steve going over and beyond for us; also with great knowledge of the local area having lived there for a number of years. To have a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen (with everything you would ever want/need) and a beautiful shared lounge with live fireplace was luxury. The breakfast on the Veranda was also lovely. Thanks so much Kate & Steve!

Just checked out after a long weekend at Kate’s and Steven’s fantastic BnB.

Everything we were looking for! Very stylish room with an authentic beach vibe. The interiors are very classy and every decorative item is there for a reason. As an architect this is quite important for me.

The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. In Covid times more important than ever.

Kate and Steven gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived and instantly confirmed our first guess, that this BnB was the right and only choice when visiting Husky!

Two thumbs up guys! See you again soon!

This was our fourth stay here and I just love this home! The room is beautifully styled by Kate in a very charming and comfy style. Everything you need is in the room, and the bed is comfy.
We love this house because it's super close to town and beaches, so we bring our bikes, park the car, and leave it for the duration.
Hanging out on the private balcony under the trees is a beautiful way to wile away time.
Steve and Kate are delightful hosts and I highly recommend this B&B.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay!! Kate and Steve were so helpful and assisted us with any queries we had! Our own little private oasis! Even puppy sat while we went out for dinner. Everything was beautifully presented, clean and tidy. We will be spreading the word about this incredible B&B.

Kate and Steve, we will be back!

Kate and Steve were welcoming and it was a relaxing place to stay. Beds were comfy, rooms nicely decorated, with a lovely verandah. It is also walking distance to town, cafes, and beach. Highly recommend a visit to this area and supporting local businesses after recent bushfires in the region.

Chose this place based on reviews here and was surprised that very few mentioned that the place is actually on a busy road. Added to this the uncared for garden at the front of the house, our first impressions were not so good. It's not necessary to maintain a meticulously kept garden, but being greeted by large weeds is not welcoming. Perhaps someone has been sick/busy and hasn't had time.

The accommodation was lovely, and the bathroom flash. The guest area was cozy and comfortable with plenty of reading material available. Hosts very helpful and charming. Unfortunately, although Huskisson is a relatively quiet place, there is enough traffic to make the front room accommodation noisy. Don't know whether there is accommodation at the rear.

A continental breakfast is included and is good. However at $200+/night, it would want to be. In the end, although good quality, it is still muesli, fruit, yogurt, toast etc. Many people value good food and have access to this standard at home, so not really that special. The price charged begs the question - where are the just-laid eggs and free range bacon????

At the price, given traffic noise and lack of hot breakfast, I think the value is questionable. We were in Blackheath the week before, where for less money we had a simpler but just as comfortable and quieter room with a beautiful freshly cooked breakfast, including local mushrooms. Lounge area was at least equal to Huskisson. It depends what you value, but the 'shabby chic' and cute style of Huskisson B&B is not enough to get me back at the price we paid.

We are sorry that you were not as happy as our B&B guests usually are. I do wish you had said something about your concerns when you were here, as they were all rectifiable. 1) The road: Perhaps other people don’t write about it because it’s not a problem? We are situated on one of the two roads into Huskisson, and yes, there is some daytime traffic, but this is a small seaside village and it is quiet at night. The couple who were in the verandah room for several nights before you, have stayed here twelve times and always request that room. No one else had ever complained in the eight years we have been here, but a note to future guests: If you have hyperacusis or live in a cul-de-sac, please ask for the Garden Room. (I'm pretty certain it was available when you stayed here and I note that you didn't ask). 2) We clearly state on our website that we serve a continental breakfast and that we will happily cook you (organic, free-range) eggs if requested, as we often do. We buy organic muesli, yoghurt, we squeeze fresh orange juice, make tropical fruit salad (with expensive seasonal fruits like blueberries and mangoes) and cook fresh fruit compote every morning. Steve cycles into Huskisson for fresh bakery bread every morning and we make excellent, individual coffees - cappuccinos and lattes - or pots of leaf tea. The local jams are so delicious that many people go and pick up a few jars from Keith The Jam Man (who lives around the corner). 3) We think staying at Huskisson B&B is good value. Quality accommodation in this area is on the expensive side (there are no resorts or hotels here, so it is at a premium). We are cheaper than all the other boutique bed and breakfasts in the Jervis Bay area - and even the same cost as two of the motels. We provide clawfoot baths in all the rooms, underfloor heating, guest sitting-room with a log-fire, super comfy beds, huge towels, free DVDs and we have some great midweek and weekend specials. We are a tiny B&B with only two rooms. I don't think it is fair to compare us with an other area like the Blue Mountains where there are literally hundreds of B&Bs, guesthouses, hotels and motels. I also suspect you may have booked your stay here without looking at our actual website, as you are clearly an avid tripadvisor reviewer and you say it was 'not what you expected'. 4) The front garden was getting a bit wild and had some overgrown, dead flowers - so we have tidied it up and replanted. It does look a lot better, so thanks.
