Other Half and I decided on a spontaneous trip to Jervis Bay for the weekend, along with our friends, another couple. We rang a few accommodation providers who could not offer us Saturday night. I called the Jervis Bay motel and spoke to Kim. Her friendly but professional manner immediately reassured me. She said no rooms were available in the motel but offered me an offsite property in the neighbouring town of Vincentia. The price quoted was very reasonable so I booked. Our whole party was very satisfied with the accommodation provided.
The accommodation was small granny flat type premises with a queen bedroom and a fold out sofa bed in the lounge. The flat had off street parking in a quiet street close to the shops and beach. It was quite recently renovated, with cooktop, pie warmer type oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and plenty of crockery and utensils. There was a smaller full size fridge, large tv and air conditioning. The sofa bed was of good quality and proved comfortable. We were very happy to have the option of enjoying a small backyard for drinks and our meals.
Yes there are a few minor improvements that could be made. A few knobs were missing from the stove, the bedroom had no window and the insects could be cleaned out of the oyster lights, but we found the property clean, comfortable and adequate in every way.
I would rate the property 3.5 stars but my interaction with Kim and the other staff is definitely 5 stars. I'm looking forward to returning.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay in an upstairs room overlooking the main street. The curtains were blockout and we heard no noise from the street. Other upstairs rooms would have delightful views of the bay, especially from the chairs on the (shared) veranda. Parking on-site was tight.
The room had table and chairs, a small frig with freezer, hospitality tray, microwave, plates and cutlery. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was in good order with an excellent shower.
The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful with information about local restaurants.

I would not recommend staying here unless you don't really care about NOT having an ocean view (as unless you have a balcony this is only from the walkway outside of your room). The pool does not have a sundeck, it's quite small and doesn't have much room around the outside of it. Not sure where the BBQ area was, certainly wasn't near the pool.
The location of the hotel was good, right in the centre of Huskisson.
The room itself was average - bathroom needed to be updated as there was grout in the basin that looked like staining and a tiny shower.
Also, do not leave anything behind in your room. They will charge you a $5 fee to send it back to you as they have to "make their way to the post office" (which is a 2 minute walk around the corner), on top of the postage charge. They will ask for your card details to effectively give an open authorisation to charge whatever they want onto it.
A fairly disappointing experience with this place.

The photos on the booking website showed an updated and refurbished family room when we placed our booking, but upon arrival, we were disappointed to find it in original condition (around 40 years old) with cheap furniture. The room was dated, there was a musty smell, stains all throughout the carpet, rust on the door frames, furniture peeling and fabric chairs stained - the fake plant with the price tag still hanging off it in the bathroom was just tacky. I caught glimpses of the other rooms as I walked past and they appeared to reflect photos on the booking websites (ie. Slightly updated and refurbished) but the family room is just sad. Do not book the family room!

Over $ 1600 for a 6 night stay in an Ocean View room which was no larger than a lounge room in an average sized house. No cooking facilities apart from a microwave oven. No sink so any glasses, cups etc had to be washed in the bathroom wash hand basin. Tiny wardrobe with hanging room for one person in a room which sleeps 3. No chest of drawers so clothes had to be left in suitcases for 6 days. I don't know where the pool and BBQ area was hidden but I couldn't find them. I have stayed in many motels in various countries and this unit would have the least amenities of any, at a premium price. Would I stay there again ? Only if the price was about half what we paid.Very disappointing.

Location is fantastic, you’re a stones throw away from the shops and beach but besides that; I can really say anything more positive about the accommodation.
While I understand Canberra Day long weekend, prices go crazy at the south coast everywhere, and $400 plus a night at this place was cheap; in comparison to others we saw. At the best of times however I wouldn’t pay probs more than $120 a night for this place.
Room ridiculously small. Bathroom old and pokey. Soap dispenser fell off wall after first use and couldn’t be reattached, not enough towels. The whole motel could do with a refreshing maybe.
I did like that there was a microwave, tea and coffee; but not enough milk. Free parking was a good point also.
The linen and blankets in the cupboards were in desperate need of a wash.

We visited this place for a short 1 day trip for my husbands birthday celebration.
The front staff was friendly and sweet. As there are limited number of motels and hotels here we did have a limited options in terms of staying.
The room is extremely basic with all basic amenities but quiet spacious. There were quiet a few eatouts nearby.
Would recommenced this only if its a quick short stay. There was limit spots for parking.

We arrived late but they left a key out for us. The room was modern and spacious - probably more so than i had expected - with a good shower and comfy bed.
There's various bars, restaurants, takeaways and small shops around. It's maybe a 10min walk to a small beach and a short drive to some of the main spots in the area.
We only stayed one night & saw some of the staff the following morning. Everybody was friendly and polite. Nothing bad to say - it did the job perfectly!

There are limited options in this area, and it's right on the main street so a very convenient location however the Motel is a bit dated and the walls are paper thin. The bed is very soft which we found uncomfortable, which combined with the people next door being very loud and coughing all night, made it an unpleasant stay unfortunately. Parking is onsite which is good.
