Byer Fountain Motor Inn

Certificate of Excellence
Byer Fountain Motor Inn is located almost mid-way between Sydney and Melbourne just off the Hume Highway in the Submarine Town of Holbrook, NSW. This 36 room motel has a combination of double, twin and triple share ground floor accommodation making it a perfect rest stop for singles and families. All 36 rooms have reverse cycle air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, modern LCD TVs with Austar Cable, clock radio alarms, toasters, electric blankets and come fully supplied with linen and towels. Our 50 seat licensed restaurant offers the chance to enjoy a relaxing ‘home cooked’ country style meal after a long day's driving and can cater for both coaches and functions. Continental breakfast is available at a surcharge and can be delivered to your room the night before. The motel's huge grounds allow for off highway parking for even the largest vehicles. The pool is open during the summer months and offers an ideal way to cool off in the heat of the day.

This is the email sent at 11.34 16 June 18 and it shows as having been delivered to your admin email address. I have emails set up to show delivered notice. So my criticism stands. We will be returning from a major show April next year and wish to break our trip between Melbourne and home (Crookwell) Holbrook is ideally situated for breaking our trip. We chose your Motel as our preference based on reviews, price and onsite restaurant. We see you say not pets. Does that include pets if they remain in the trailer? Glenelg Motel has a no pets policy but accepted us with dogs in trailer when we stayed there for four nights in April this year. They are willing to provide reference if required and advised we and our dogs were welcome back anytime. We stayed at The Settlement Deniliquin on our return journey and I am sure they also would give us a favourable reference. Our dogs are NEVER in the room are exercised away from the Motel and are not allowed to bark Regards Colin & Shirley Ford Takimbre German Shepherds

My problem is they DID not answer the email. Claimed they never received it. Rubbish. Their refusal to refund (in another case) because the room was not habitable is enough reason to never stay there.
