Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

In town for a couple of days and found Central B & B to be just the spot. Trudie is a wonderful host who is doing the place up--no small feat. Rooms were clean, cosy and tidy, bathrooms although a bit aged were clean with plenty of hot water. Our room had a door to the balcony which we made full use of. We didn't have dinner there because of previous arrangements but have heard good reviews. Breakfast was excellent with cereal, fresh fruit, fresh bread and Trudie makes fantastic coffee. Rates were acceptable. Will stay again if in the area

5 STAR HOSPITALITY
Enjoyed an overnight stay at Trudy's B&B. in Henty, "Home of the Header".
Henty is located on the Olympic Highway, full of history and deinitely worth a visit. Trudy is a single Mum on a mission to restore the 112-year-old historic hotel and bring it back to its glory days.
Trudy's hard work, commitment and passion will prevail and this grand old lady will continue to provide accommodation, food and 5 star hospitality. A place to put your head down, enjoy yummy chicken and mushroom risotto followed by delicious homemade passionfruit sponge drizzled with lemon curd for dinner and continental breakfast before you head off for the day. Trudy is always available for a chat and to ensure you have everything you need.
Note: arrive before 12 on Saturday as everyone (almost) is at the footy etc and the town is very quiet. However, second hand shops are open and make sure you visit the Art Gallery where talented local artists display their wonderful artwork, paintings, ceramics, jewellery and photographs.
On the highway you will find Daschin a quirky caravan cafe owned and operated by Suzanne, another very friendly local, offering toasties, wraps, coffe, hot chocolate, teas and cakes and slices - definitely recommend the orange and almond cake with a hint of kaffir lime.
It is so important to visit all the little towns off the Hume Highway and relive the history of Australia, meet the wondeful locals and support all these small businesses. These businesses provide long term employment and spending money in these towns will keep them alive and sustainable.

11 ladies spent 5 days sewing and relaxing with Trudie's wonderful hospitality.
Nothing was too much trouble for Trudie, and her meals were truly scrumptious.
We will definitely go back, can thoroughly recommend this. Beds were very comfortable,

I stop regularly at Trudie's B & B when I'm on my run through the Riverina and in my opinion there is no better place to spend a night or two. The service is first rate and the meals are spot on. Trudie has created a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Trudie is very friendly and welcoming.
The accommodation is unique and homely. The inclusive breakfast made for very affordable rates.

Stayed there for 3 nights. Trudy's service to me was excellent and the room was ever so comfortable. I would definitely return for another stay. I would recommend Trudy's B&B to anyone wanting a place to stay in Henry.

Enjoyed my month stay at Henty Central BnB. Host and owner Trudie ensured my stay was a pleasant experience with her fabulous country hospitality in a historical setting in an ex hotel with 140+ years of charm and history.
Trudie delighted me with scrumptious meals and the best coffee ....along with exceptional friendly service.

We stop over over on our annual Xmas commute. It's excellent location for families with plenty of room for kids to run around and let off steam, and its excellent value for money. You'll appreciate it most if you like quaint old-fashioned Aussie hotel architecture.

We’re so happy that we chose to break our road trip at Trudie’s B&B. What a gem of a find! From the moment we arrived, Trudie made us feel welcome and at home in her fabulous grand old hotel. Our rooms were very comfortable and charmingly furnished. There’s a huge balcony on the first floor where we whiled away the evenings looking out over the town and listening to the sound of birdsong from nearby wetlands. Trudie prepared three meals for us during our stay- all of them absolutely delicious. Thank goodness we stumbled upon this delightful place instead of booking a motel. Thank you so much Trudie for your warmth and hospitality!

Worked the Henty farm show & stayed here for 3 nights. Feels like staying in someone’s home. Trudie is so lovely & makes such an effort to make sure everyone is comfortable & happy. We had breakfast & dinners provided in a communal cosy dining room with all the other guests plus Trudie kindly made us packed lunches to take every day. We will be back next year for sure!
