What an absolutely awesome place. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The amenities were always beautifully clean and fresh. There was a security guard wandering around at night which made my partner feel safe and secure. There were absolutely no noise issues at all and we stayed over the busy Easter weekend. The location of the park is convenient...

My wife and I had planned to camp for two nights at Hawks Nest Beach Holiday Park, on our way south to Nelson Bay. We had driven through rain for most of the day, and phoned ahead to change our camp site to a “beach shack”. This was easily arranged, and when we arrived we had a friendly greeting, an...

My husband and I have stayed here a few times together camping. And my husband has been visiting here since he was a child. It's a great caravan park that is close to the beach. Shops are close by and in walking distance. Amenities are always clean. Would like to see ensuite powered sites and a pool in the future....

We made a booking for a deluxe family cabin last year for a birthday in February. At the time of booking I was told that prices hadn't been worked out for 2017 and I was asked to make a $50 deposit which I did. I was later advised that the cabin would cost $215 per night which I thought was...

My wife and I have been going to this park for over 20 years ... even before it was pulled back form the original boundary on the dunes. Although largely adequate, we have always heard of there being major improvements. The facilities blocks are old and tired and need a complete upgrade including fixing lock on toilet door. The eastern...

We stayed in a beach shack for 3 nights and had a great time. Beach is nice and close, there is a cafe/restaurant/bar across the road which was convenient however closed for renovations 2 of our 3 days. Beach shacks have no ensuite however they were very close to facilities. The only bad thing for us was that we had...

This caravan park is immediately next to Hawks Nest beach which is patrolled and across the road from a hotel. The hotel offers breakfast lunch and dinner in a room that opens up to the outdoors. The main shopping strip is perhaps 500m walk up the street. The amenities are good but perhaps not the most contemporary but are clean....

We and our CamperTrailer are regular visitors. It is a very relaxed and well-maintained park. Ken & Tracey and their staff are very pleasant and efficient, which makes a difference. The Park is close to a beach and shops and the local Golf Club. The weekly meat-raffles are a bit of fun, even if you don't win!

Thank you so much to your wonderful staff and in particular the office manager who made my 70 year old disabled mother's holiday with her family so much more enjoyable in having access to the wheel-chair friendly amenities. Next time we head to Hawks Nest we will most certainly be booking here and utilising the disabled-access fully equipped cabin! Thank...
