This is an older type motel which needs some updating and refurbishing but for the price, cleanliness and location it is brilliant, and having a nice restaurant just downstairs. The manager gave us the front section, third floor overlooking parts of the water and of course the street. It was pleasantly surprising that it was not noisy considering that there...

We paid extra for a spa room with ocean views. Carpet was stained, stain on sofa bed, we didn't use the spa as it didn't look clean. We received bubbles and chocolates on arrival we our deal, we had to ask for them, the chocolates went in the bin, they were heat affected and the bubbles were just as good.

It has a magnificent pool and waterslide for kids to splash around in and slide down, a warm spa for adults to relax in and great units with TVs, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. It is not far from the beach but quite a walk to Mt Yacaaba. It was very cloudy but I didn't worry about the weather; it...

We stayed here for the second time and as with the first time we had a very enjoyable time. All the staff were outstanding and nothing was a trouble to them from the office to the cleaning and maintenance personnel. The motel unit was clean and comfortable. The place has been taken over by new owners and they have been...

Last minute decision for a night away. Booked a basic double room. Photos showed a balcony. Noticed on booking site that all room types showed same photos which was a concern. There seems to be two sections to this place: the "newer" white section near the conference rooms, and the "older" bricked section. The pool separates the two sections. When...

Website photos and info must be 20 years old. Reserved a 2 bedroom self contained unit for 4 adults and 2 kids. We got a shabby, smelly unit with a pullout couch missing springs and so saggy not even the kids could sleep on it. Kitchen was a joke, oven was filthy, no baking pan to cook on, so outdated....

Stayed 2 nights. On line price £98, but walk in price more like £60! Great location near beach. Apartment looks a bit tatty but fairly clean. Lovely ladies on reception. Free parking. Useless wifi unless you are by pool or use the pub next door's wifi.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff were also very helpful and obviously hard working under what appeared to be difficult conditions. The room we had was on the ground floor. The general condition of the room was old and in need of major update. No ventilation. If the door was left open to get air, flies were...

Stayed here for a one night stopover on our way back from Brisbane. The family room was quite large but a little run down. The pool was nice with a slide for the kids. It was hard to get a car park and forget about going to sleep early as the noise from the pub attached to the hotel is...

Staff were really nice. Pool is great but cracked tiles, etc everywhere! The place however is quite run down, no effort put into maintenance. Rooms are shockingly small and couldn't turn taps on or off, needed a wrench. The rooms weren't cleaned properly. Who ever owns this places needs to put some money back into it. Lots of people smoking...
