Peaceful and scenic. Very pleasant village and spectacular beach and offshore islands. Took the ferry across Port Stephens to bustling Nelson Bay for shopping and eating. Amazing tourist activity. Dolphin and whale watching.

Very average room. Very small and tired looking. Can't believe we paid $200 for this. To make it worse than it was - close to restaurant kitchen so noisy till all hours. Not much choice I suppose so they get away with it! Bathroom facilities really need updating

I found this place on the back of a Shop-a-docket and decided to take a short cheap break. We had a ground floor apartment which the overall layout was great however, we had a couple of little visitors from the 8 leg variety (spiders) in the shower and kitchen. The bed had a broken spring and it dug into my... More

I have stayed there twice within a few years. Certainly not fancy- but not paying for fancy either. Clean enough and friendly. Bar n restaurant- quite good. Good pool and close to a great beach. Would stay again

Staff helpful even though I arrived early and the room wasn't ready - not their fault. Change of room on my request to ground floor. Room had a very strong chemical smell. Maybe just finished cleaning but smell did not go away even with windows open. I had to purchase a scented candle to remove the odor. Room clean and... More

We purchased a very inexpensive three night deal off the net for a one bedroom apartment. On arrival, the smallish apartment was open-plan with the bedroom almost part of the living area. So the receptionist offered a free upgrade to a two bedroom apartment which did properly match its description and was most welcome given the weather was pretty poor.... More

The room was basic but clean. The location was good very close to the water. The staff were friendly. However there was no wifi and I couldn't even use my own data as the reception in the room was really bad.

Rented a 2 bedroom unit for 3 nights. Rooms were spacious with balcony and kitchen (no oven or hot plates). It was clean and had air conditioner that kept the rooms warm (went in Winter). Bathroom was very dated, paint on shower bath was pealing significantly and taps were strange (had extra attachment for some reason). Motel had heated spa.... More
