I stayed at this park for two nights.
The staff were very friendly and location was excellent walk to beach and close to local shops. The park was full all weekend and 60% had left by Sunday.
They have on site cabins, powered sites and camping sites and also permanent onsite vans. I was placed in between 2 very old onsite vans. The van sites were average and not level. The ammenities were very clean and good bbq area and kitchen.
This park would be great for kids with great pool area, small putt putt course and tandem bikes for hire.
A really good caravan park that’s a touch over priced $50.50 per night for powered site. Check in 2pm and check out 10am

We just spent 3 nights in a deluxe 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin. The park has a lot of great activities for kids, putt putt (which was being repaired so they are improving it), 2 pools incl toddlers sections, jumping pillow, giant bucket and water park, kids shed with magic shows, face painting, an obstacle course with slide jumping castle, pedal cars etc. Our grandchildren wouldnt leave...they loved it.

I agree the park roads are in need of repair....I wouldnt like to walk at night on them and would be hard for pedal cars.

It was full with school holidays but it never felt crowded.

A small shop for bread, milk and staples would do great or bring everything like we did, otherwise drive to shops. The clubs/ pubs are great meals.

The cabins are fine, clean, spacious and beds were comfortable. The screen on door had rips/ holes and couldnt be left open and didnt lock.

The only thing that spoilt it was the sandflies which the park cant help. Our granddaughter was badly bitten and required treatment (even though we lathered her several times a day in aeroguard). So definitely take protection for sandflies when visiting the park and local area.

It was probably one of the best parks for kids Ive been to. I agree it needs TLC but we all enjoyed it and our grandchildren didnt want to leave!!

I had never been to Harrington before but it was a lovely place.

The reception and other staff cannot do enough for you. Theyre all friendly and helpful.

Well this whole park looks like it needs a lot of tlc.
1/ paid for superior cabin accommodation only to find out it was adjacent to the main road and had plenty of passing traffic noise.
2/ the wifi the park allowed you to connect to could not be connected too
3/ the main bedroom is extremely small
4/ the walls of some of the bedrooms were very dusty
5/ the sink was mouldy
6/ the front screen door could not be locked
7/ the caravan parks putt putt course looks extremely tired with rips on the course that should not be there
8/ the lounge was dirty
9/ for a dining room table they had a large wooden table and bench seats where a table and chairs would have been better suited.
10/ the whole ‘superior’ cabin looked very said and tired

Have been going to this Caravan park for the last 10 years, however this will be our last trip. Maintenance of the park is poor, cabins are now outdated with failing appliances, pool was dirty and over crowed. On arrival our cabin which we paid $3k for the week was extremely hot. Air conditioner not on.
Air Conditioner leaked water on the inside of the cabin and underneath a power point. But this is not dangerous. Park solution was to place a towel underneath the leaking air conditioner. Park Maintenance manger advised air conditioning trades would be out in 2 days time. Followed up 2 days later with the park manager and no trades had been arranged.
Light Switch in the cabin tripped the power, advised Park Maintenance Manager who attended and placed a piece of duct tape over the switch. Electrician arrived when we were checking out.
Pool was green and murky and could not see to the bottom, rim of pool contained mould.
Asked park staff when was the last time the pool was cleaned and they advised the week before, this was not correct.

Carpets in the cabins had not been cleaned for some time as the carpet was brown with traffic marks.

Dishwasher broke down with a service required on the screen.

Park has way too many rules for kids. Adults drinking alcohol in the pool.

Park had 1 yes only 1 working dryer for a caravan park at capacity.

Used to be a great place to stay.

If you have teenagers would advise to do airbnb instead.

Nothing for teenagers at the park.

There were lots of things we didn’t enjoy about the park: bathrooms were not cleaned well enough, not often enough; there were only 2 driers working during our stay and with the weather the way it was, it just made for long waiting times. There were many guests smoking in the park and no one checking - right next to our site there was a couple that would stay up very late, smoking and making a lot of noise after 10pm. But the worse and main issue with the park was the site sizes: when I booked, I asked for a site big enough for a camper trailer, but it was barely big enough and with the other 2 sites next to us, we couldn’t even access the car without having to walk over the neighbors’ space. Too tight, too crowded!!!! There were no disability facilities or access appropriate for people with mobility issues. Will not be going back and definitely not recommending your park, unfortunately.

The toilets and showers were clean and hot, bins were regularly emptied, but the town is kind of dull and not much to do, “Harrington beach” is more like a lake and unless you just want to fish ..there is nothing here, the pool is mediocre and the putt putt golf is avge at best. had to drive to foster to really do anything…as you see in my pics stayed in unpowered site, I’m give it 2 stars for its cleanliness.

We stayed on Mon 13 May 2024, 1 night, Cabin.
This Park location is great stop-over while cruising up the Central Coast towns.
Superb location on the beach, walk along the breakwaters.
A bit out of town, but a few of the Bistros offer collect and drop-off shuttle, so all good!
Yes, recommended.

Great campsite, our site was very quiet and the facilities had been updated, all looking fairly new and very clean. Convenient to breakwater and lagoon. Great swimming pool as well. Aprox 5km drive to Crowdy Head and the beach there. Easy cycling along the track to the “river trail”. Good fishing from the breakwater, though the fish are crafty and my catch got away. We also got Telstra signal and could get onto the internet though they say the whole Harrington area has patchy reception.

On arrival warm welcome from staff.
Explained where to have dinner and that if required we could be picked up by courtesy bus.
Cabin was clean and well set out and very roomy.
Due to wind and rain was unable to try any of activities at the resort.
Fully recommend for a relaxing break

Hello, Cabins 31 and 32 are Deluxe 3 Bedroom Holiday Suites. They have a king bed in the main room with an ensuite, two king singles in the second bedroom and a set of bunks in the third bedroom. They also have private BBQ facilities on the verandah with a view of the jumping pillow, which allows parents to relax on their verandah while being able to watch their children play. We hope this information helps! Kind Regards, Discovery Parks
