Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The removated Hotel accommodation was OK but the extremely rude older female staff member in the bar (so called manager) and her younger sidekick totally ruined our experience. Yes, it was a Saturday night and we expected noise/music from the bar but not music so very loud that the base was vibrating the walls in our room above the bar. We nicely asked for the music be turned down a fraction to simply cut off the heavy base sound so we could get to sleep. The music itself was ok to listen too. But we were rudely informed that the music would continue as is and not be shut off until midnight with the bar then closing at 1am. We were then told 'what did you expect this is a pub!!' and 'our paying customers have a right' Finally this 'paying customer' asked for a refund we we're laughed at and told no. Under their Duty of Disclosure in their Booking.com add there was no mention of extremly loud music playing until midnight at this 'Hotel'.

Room Tip: Extremely loud bar music until midnight. Bar does close at 1am. Sleep was obtainable after that...

Popped in with my partner for a quick lunch and this place was a delight. The vibe was laid back, slightly funky but unpretentious, the service friendly and the food delicious. My linguini with prawns was outstanding and I'll be back to have it again.

What a sensational Hotel the Light Horse is in Harden-Murrumbarrah. Friendly country service, delicious food and the beers are cold. Thank you, Karen and team, for your amazing hospitality. The Hotel is in a great location, easy parking with a great atmosphere. Enjoy a cold one on the balcony and watch the world go by or enjoy the friendly company inside at the bar or in front of the fire. Looks like a great place to book a function, and whom ever is cooking out the back almost deserves a Michelin Star. I will certainly be making this hotel a must stop during my travels and even bring the wife for a treat.

This is a favourite for us when we are in Harden, recently renovated it’s fresh, welcoming with a great atmosphere. The Owners and staff are just fabulous and the food is just the best. The fire is a hit on cold nights and we always end up staying longer! We will be back!

Had lunch at the Light Horse in Murrumburrah on a Sunday. Just lovely, the pub has been revamped with lots a eating places/rooms with comfy lounges, tables and chairs, stools, outdoor cane seating areas etc. open fires in many rooms, freshly decorated. We were greeted warmly, the order taken promptly and delivered with a smile. The well presented meals were yummy, we had salmon and veggies and lamb shanks. I was delighted with this hotel. Many thanks for your hospitality, highly recommended.

cold beer, warm showers, great hosts. That's pretty much what a good country pub should be. Renovations were tasteful and in keeping with the character of the building. I'd recommend the pub for a meal, a beer and a good night's stay.
