Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed in one of the motel rooms as we were travelling back to Sydney from Melbourne. The room was spotless, smelt fresh and had fluffy towels and toiletries. Although we only made a cup of tea in our room, the kitchen area had a fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave.

We found the Gundagai Tourist Suites on booking.com. They are self catering motel rooms but very spacious, all new and very clean and modern. The kitchenette had everything we needed with microwave, kettle and toaster, crockery and cutlery and a good sized fridge. Our bed was very comfortable. The shower and basin had liquid soap/ body shampoo supplied. We are a small table and chairs to eat our meals, a TV and a comfortable lounge chair.
Walk into town for groceries or cafes. Very quiet, reasonable internet.
It really was an ideal spot to stop for one night on our way back north to Queensland.

Our first time at this park and will not be our last. We had an undercover, drive through ensuite site. The site is wide and level concrete with easy access to water, power and sullage. There is also provision for coax cable connection for TV reception
The park is very well maintained, clean and tidy. There is a choice of suites, cabins, grassed powered and unpowered sites. There is also a weighbridge on site, available for a low fee.
The park is adjacent to the public swimming pool and an easy 5 minute walk to the main street and Services Club. Discounts available for G'Day members. Highly recommended

My favourite oasis between Sydney and Melbourne.
After a day on the road I always look forward to Kerry greeting me with a smile and my motel room key. The Airconditioning is already cooling the room and the milk is in the full sized fridge. The room, kitchenette area and bathroom are spotless as usual and all in all great value for the night. My return is always prebooked and happily the same high standard. Thank you .

Unique caravan park at Gundagai with drive through, stay hitched, undercover sites & ensuite bathrooms. Luxury for our last night on the road after 3 weeks and over 2000km of travel up the NSW north coast. Got the car & van weighed on their weighbridge as well to check we are legal.

A great place to stop for one or more nights. The drive through ensuite capacities are so convenient for those travelling north or south. A nice little town to spend some well deserved dollars too. Access is so easy as is departure.

Great spot, all undercover sites, you can pay for ens or use the ones available to guests. Would stay again. Used weighbridge$25. We noticed vans coming in before 1.30pm, yet when we rang to see if we could come 1 hr earlier, it wasn't allowed.

Wow, what a clean caravan park and such friendly staff. The greeting was so friendly and very efficient and we were on our way to our site quickly. We got an undercover site which was so easy to access which meant no reversing...score! The ensuite was clean and very generous in size which meant we were comfortably set up in minutes. We were recommended the other Gundagai caravan park so we went and had a look at it but honestly, this park is way better. Especially the location, 5 minute walk and we were ordering our coffee. The only recommendation I will make is because it it an undercover site your aerial won't extend so make sure you have an external aerial cord because being relatively new to caravanning it was a rookie error on our part. But the manager sorted us out with a loan cord for the second night so we had more to choose from than the ABC. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent- the undercover area was fantastic and the ensuite bathroom was very clean and quite roomy. The shower was a great size. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The park itself was clean and tidy and, even though I didn’t utilise it, they now have a weigh bridge that you can use to check your weights before heading off on more adventures

We used the drive through en-suite undercover facility that worked well for our camper trailer and avoided the need for a full setup. The en-suite bathroom was clean and large enough for some temporary storage. The park is close to the commercial area of the town which was useful. The only criticism of the location (and not the park itself) is the close proximity of the Hume Freeway. Sometimes the trucks sounded so close and so loud that we thought they were just out the front!

There was a review written about pets earlier, and it was pretty negative. The owners threatened a young lady over her animal. They are abusive and I'd be scared to let my pet go there.
