Hillview Farmstay is the ideal getaway, located 33km south of historic Gundagai on the Hume highway approximately halfway between Sydney and Melbourne. Your accommodation is set on just under 1000 acres of rolling hills and natural bush land. The property produces prime beef for the local market. We have continued to expand since we began in 2006, and are pleased to now offer 5 separate “cottages” all 4 1/2 star diamond rated to our newest Glamping Safari Tent luxury accommodation. Breakfast and animal activities are included in the tariffs. Hillview also has a full size tennis court and swimming pool. Verandas on each cottage where you can sit and enjoy the countryside. Children can feed the animals. Pets can be accommodated on request. We also offer our gourmet paddock to plate meat products (preservative and gluten free) which our guests can BBQ in the privacy of their own veranda while enjoying the local wine and beers we offer.

We stayed one night for our girls night out in the glamping safari tent. Absolutely stunning views, such lovely people, Rod and Swiney. The property owner Ruth was fantastic and very accommodating. The buggy ride and the secret “roller coaster ( ask Rod)” was the highlight. The only issue was the highway noise but that can be totally ignored by the many pluses the location have. All in all the best time we had and will visit again.

We stayed in the loft cottage accommodation which was lovely. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers (16 and 15) and it was very comfortable for us. Loved the location and the activities available. Feeding the animals is a must and the buggy ride is fun too. We had goats running up to us! The managers Rod and Raywan were friendly and looked after us. Great 2 night stay.

We had a fantastic stay thank you. Beautiful quality cabins, great pool (fantastic for kids w being quite shallow up one end and kid friendly ledge around the whole inside of the pool), fun animal encounters and awesome and generous breakfast with most of the produce provided from the farm. Would recommend.

We went for a week to explore the nearby area (Wagga Wagga, Gundagai) and it was amazing! The farm stay was very pleasant and welcoming. Plenty of activities that kept us busy for the entire trip, and very cute and engaging animals. Our cabin was fortunately right near the goats so they would come right next to us for pets :) Ruth, Rod, Davi and Linda were the most wonderful hosts, helpful, engaging and friendly with plenty to talk about in regards to the farm. Would definitely go again
