Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

New Years Eve 2021 in Gosford by default, not by choice. Travelling South and this was a one night only stay, not many places available on NYE but if did the job okay.
Reception was very friendly and helpful, the bed very comfortable with the quietest aircon unit we’ve ever heard (or in this case not heard), delicious complimentary biscuits and a very high pressure shower were the positives about this place.
The negatives, a mid 1980s technology touch phone which looked like it belonged in a museum, shower in the bath with a curtain and net curtains to truely make you feel like you’ve emerged from a time machine in 1985. But they counter this with a smart tv, the first one I’ve encountered in a motel. So a bit of both worlds to average out the good and bad.
The room we had was no.29, we were warned it was unusual by the fact access was difficult to explain and no adjacent car parking available so if you can avoid this one!

For a 3 star motel this place is fantastic. From the moment we arrived the lady with short blonde hair at the reception was so welcoming and friendly. The room was so clean and the beds were really comfy. Highly recommended this place for a couple to stay

The hotel motel is conveniently situated along the boardwalk. Walkable to area attractions and food options for meals. The hotel is tired and could use some updating but the location does make up for that. Internet was not very good. Outdoor space is nice.

The unprofessionalism of the staff at the property was appalling, the room stunk of mould, the air conditioner had never been cleaned, the couple next door were very loud fighting and swearing all night long, the reception never picked up the phone when called and allowed the unruly guests to continue with their bad behaviour. After raising this issue before handing in the key a day early, I contacted booking.com who the room was booked through and also made a complaint, the correspondence I received was the motel were unable to process a refund due to no issues being raised with any of the staff at the property.I would NOT recommend this motel.

Stayed here for 1 night whilst travelling further north. Wonderful location very close to town, it was dark when we arrived but reception were still open and very welcoming!! On waking up the next morning - wow what a wonderful view. Great place to stay, room very clean and tidy, comfy big bed and very clean bathroom and toilet. Glad we stayed here.

Wonderful position within walking distance to the waterfront. Our room was large with extremely comfortable bed & pillows. Cleanliness is exceptional & although an older property all amenities are in good working order with a guest kitchen & laundry available. Lovely pool & BBQ area set at the rear of the property. Definitely would stay again.

Wonderful motel to stay at, staff were welcoming and friendly.
The staff couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable.
Room was nice and clean even though it’s an older style motel.
The pool area is lovely and plenty of shade to sit under.
We will definitely stay again next time we’re in Gosford.

Stayed for 2 nights. Very convenient, walk to everything. Room was very clean and comfortable. Pool and surrounds were quite nice. Could not get wifi though in rooms at back of property, but they were the best rooms, no noise, nice outlook.

Its a motel, so no really great expectations. Got the key & directions ... no chat, no how was your trip, are you planning to stay longer ...?
The room was very clean, smelt good, QUIET ... the bed was great by even higher standards & the linen, sheets, towels were superior to some 5Star places I've stayed at.
Didn't grab the breakfast, so opted to toddle into Ettalong cafe for meet up with bro.
It was expensive ... but it was last minute on holiday period.

The worse place I have stay at. We had just unpacked and got ready for bed. I'm in a wheelchair and I was placed in the wheelchair friendly room. Within in a 1 min something was crawling up my leg and I was getting bitten. I slapped my leg and turned the light on. To my surprise I had red dots and I killed a bug. I didn't know what it was. So I goggled it up and to my shock it was ADULT BED BUG. My family all got up out of bed and to my horror there was small ones in the queen bed. Looked over to the single bed there was more BED BUGS. In the pouring rain we had to move into there cottage. The only positive thing for this mess. In the morning I was told they had sprayed for BED BUGS. Thinking the problem was fixed, they put customers back in. Without checking and not realising they come out mainly night.
