The camp ground was lovely but it was ruined by the attitude of the Host she was very unpleasant and rude. Her daughter booked us in on arrival and she was lovely and welcoming. The Host however, was terrible to deal with. She never introduced herself but just barked instructions. When my husband addressed the way she treated us on check out, and told her that the way she spoke to us was not called for and quite rude her response was "I've heard that before". Due to her we will not be returning and will tell all our friends. I do believe that they are the new owners.

We found this property on youcamp and cannot recommended enough! Friendly hosts, peaceful atmosphere, MASSIVE campsites, beautiful big shade trees and a gorgeous river to swim in! What more could you ask for? Amazing place for family camps with a sandpit, communal seating area and fire pits in each campsite. Well looked after amenities block an added bonus! We will visit again!

Great family run camping ground on the river. Large, grassy sites that accommodate 3-4 families. Each site has an in-ground fire pit. Adequate amenities. River was low during our visit but still great for the kids to spend all day on. Dogs welcome on lead. Bus comes past twice a day with ice and ice cream int eh afternoon. Fire wood delivered delivered direct to your site. Local helper Trevor is a great bloke, great with the kids and a beer around the fire.

Stayed at this beautifully maintained campground at the base of a family property near the water. Nice little swimming hole, quiet, fire pit and warm showers. You’ll need to be self contained. We went as a couple but would be nice for a group too

Stayed here for two nights. IT WAS HOT! If you do not like the heat, don't camp in summer! Campsites are huge, most offering shade. Ours had minimal shade until late afternoon however we went and sat down by the river under the trees. Water was to low to float down the river on tubes however the swimming hole was great! Amenities clean and tidy. We loved our stay and are looking forward to going back. Owners and staff are super friendly and helpful.
