In the past six months I have done much travelling around NSW and QLD, and have landed here again in Gloucester at an establishment I have visited previously. It is wonderful to find that the high standards and attention to detail that I loved so much on my first visit has been maintained. It is often the little things that count, especially in these Covid times. For example, the place is squeaky clean, both the rooms and the common areas are spotless. The care factor is high. The little touches that I fondly recall are still very much in place; such as the choice of tea and coffee varieties, the DVD and guest library, reliable fee wi fi, flexible traveller-friendly check in/check out policies etc. In short, some of the country motel managers I visited in recent times should consider staying here and see how it is done.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was definitely well worth it. We spent our days adventuring through the Gloucester tops and visiting the coast. Coming back to our accommodation was always a highlight as we couldn't wait to have a good shower and relax on the comfortable bed with a DVD to unwind. The water pressure is absolutely AMAZING and even the shampoo and conditioner is good quality. My hair loved it! Everything you need is there. We wish we could've stayed a few extra nights to be able to make use of the BBQ and pool as well. Since it was raining most nights, we ended up just getting take away from the roundabout pub during our stay.

Very comfortable and pleasant. Excellent hosts. Close to town. Very accommodating. I highly recommend this venue to any one visiting the area. Steve and Ruth are friendly and amazing hosts. Nothing is to much trouble for them to make your stay more comfortable

I had to give this property a rating of 5 as is great value for money and gives you the option for catering for yourself which is most welcome if you have been travelling for some time and do not feel like going out for dinner. The breakfast was a great variety of hot and cold which you could help yourself to in a clean communal kitchen and dining area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming. Thank you.

We stayed only one night, maybe 2 might give a more balanced option. We checked in with the help of another guest as there was no one in reception (did not see anyone entire time). Our room was just off the lounge/kitchen with a view of a fence. The room included everything we could ask for and then some. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure good. Easy walk into town, parking very close to the rooms. The downside of staying here is that the rooms are so close to the living area shared by everyone. It was so disturbing we left our room to head into town shortly after checking in and again breakfast was not enjoyed as the other guests were at the table all morning and the coffee machine did not work either. A bit disappointed
