Horrible. Found suspicious stains all through sheets that had clearly not been washed properly, the room smelt like the plumbing had failed for the past 15 years and spread throughout the room and when I asked if we could possibly have a new set of sheets I was verbally abused by the owners over the phone. I have never dealt...

We stayed two nights here recently, and were very pleased with the value,. It's a budget motel, a bit dated, with some old furnishings. But it was clean, with friendly hosts, and with a handy kitchenette. Pool was good also on a hot day. Would recommend for a quiet, cheap place to stay in Gilly !

Just stayed for 2 nights. Fantastic Motel, very clean and great rates. The queen room was very large, full kitchenette (stove, oven fridge). The owners were very friendly. Motel is on the Highway but did not notice any traffic noise in the room.

This motel is fantastic. The current owners have owned this for over 40 years as they built it. I see a review complaining about no milk being provided, there is always milk provided if this was missed on the night in question the office was still open, it would have been provided if the owner had known of the mistake....

Arrived at 7pm and the servo next door closed so NO milk as none is supplied very disappointed in the motel would not recommend this motel for the weary traveller no wonder its on the market for sale hopefully the new owners (if it sells) will do a better job then the ones that are here now.

Older motel rooms with full kitchenette (stove, microwave, sink, fridge, plates, cutlery etc). Renovated bathroom with heaps of room (but a little shower cubicle :)). Comfortable beds. Family room comprised of separate bedroom with QS bed, armchair and wardrobe, with a QS and single bed also in the living area. Watch your head on the TV shelf and your hip...

A small family-run country motel. Most rooms have been updated but bathrooms still original. Very clean. Laundromat on site and every room has a small but fully functional kitchen with a good range of cooking utensils. Next door to a service station that carries a range of breakfast food, sandwiches, frozen meals etc. Quiet location. Good value.

Stayed here for one night as we were passing through. Older style bit functional and clean. We had the room at the back so no traffic noise. Rooms have kitchen and cooking facilities which was a pleasant surprise.

Clearly not all the rooms have been updated as yet, and unfortunately the existing room we had was rather tired looking. Ok for the price, but would not bother again unless given a new room. Air-con was noisy and there was a slight musty smell to the room. Overall a little disappointed given the previous reviews.

I was doing a quick two week tour of Australia and stayed at Gilgandra Lodge on the way to Canberra. It was clean and modern, we even had a brand new kitchen in the room! The owners were friendly and polite. It was definitely a family run business as the whole place felt warm and inviting, like a second home....
