We stayed at this accommodation and found it to be all we needed in both price and facilities. The room contained a microwave plates & cutlery and king bed. This accomodation also applies seniors discount to all rates and once applied was the cheapest accomodation of the trip. Would recommend it to any traveller looking for a bed.

Great motel, very good value for money. Spacious room with all that is required including tea and coffee, kettle and microwave. The motel is located just off the main road, so no road noise. Good bed with great tv. Lovely Chinese Restaurant next door. Highly recommended.

Friendly service and very comfortable beds. It was the perfect place to stay after a long day on the road. The room itself was spacious and quiet. We loved that very little light entered the room at night. The motel is a short distance from the tranquil river walk.

We chose to stay at this establishment as its website advised that the Kingsway Chinese Restaurant was connected with them for guest convenience. However it did not advise that dine in was not available and that they only did takeaway. They need to update their website to indicate the status of the restaurant. It was recommended by the manager that we go to a local hotel who he advised had good food and cold drinks. That turned out to be very disappointing. The steak was as tough as old boots and glasses of wine were poured out of a box. We will be looking elsewhere next time. One good thing though was a good king size bed.

Stayed here on a road trip. This is a large motel complex with 24 room and parking out front of units Our room had a queen bed with 2 single beds in the room the room also had a fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, a toaster and kettle along with tea and coffee and fresh milk. Bathroom had enclosed shower area with a shower curtain and had shampoo/soap and conditioner. Everything we needed it is also located way back from the road so road noise is not very apparent if at all. For dinner at night the RSL in town has good meals.

I stayed here previously a few years ago, so this was the first visit for some time. I believe there is new management now and I was warmly welcomed. While older, the rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious and the beds very comfortable. It was plainly obvious this is the preferred motel in this location as the neighbouring motel had no guests in the car park I could see. Conveniently located to the Main Street and easy walking to the Services Club which offers a good selection of food. I’d definitely stay again

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this motel, chosen for its close proximity to the town centre.It is value for money- good room size, comfy bed, quiet,as rooms are set back from the road. Friendly management. Bonus of Chinese restaurant on site.Nicely kept grounds.

Easy online booking process. Friendly check in/out staff. We booked a family room, and found it spacious and comfortable. Free WiFi. Foxtel available. Staff gave us recommendations of where to eat, as we arrived late Monday evening, and the onsite Chinese takeaway wasn't open. Would definitely recommend

To the best of my knowledge this is not a pet friendly motel. However, if you contact the very friendly proprietors directly I am sure they would be able to advise you of other options that may be available in the town.
As the others have said, the parking is right outside the rooms which had plenty of room for walking frames. I don't recall hand rails in the bathroom but I am sure the owners would do all that they can to assist. The chinese restaurant next door is easily accessible or you can get take away
There are more places to choose from in the Gilgandra area.
