Stay for 3 nights, attending a family Wedding. The Room was good, spacious, clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good as well. The only negative I have is the disabled ramp. Escorting my elderly relatives through the kitchen to access the ramp at the end of the night is not okay with me.
The hotel was OK. Room was clean and modern. Restaurant was nice and the food was nice too. The pool looked inviting, but too cool to try out. Maybe next time. Not too far from the township and was able to walk there in a short amount of time.
Our recent stay at The Mecure Gerringong was terrific. Service was fabulous, down to it had rained we asked if we could have a tennis court broom to remove the excess water, it was no problem for groundsman who came promptly and made the court ready for play. Room service was faultless and the menu not only was absolutely delicious, it caters for all types of food tastes. The waitresses that brought the food were lovely. The coconut jackfruit curry was probably one of the best vegan type meals I’ve had. Cheeseburger kept us here for an extra night as did the service. Rooms were spotless and spacious. The only slight negative would be the hotel itself physically looks like it needs a fresh coat of paint and the main pool area needs retiling around the pool. The pool near the back of the hotel is delightful. Definitely would stay again. Thanks for the visit.…
We enjoyed a comfortable stay at the Mecure in Gerringong. The room was spacious and quiet and had all we needed. The kitchenette was a bonus we did not expect. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and a short walk from the room
We had a relaxing stay and the location was perfect not far from the beach and close to all amenities Kiama was a 10 min drive and hence we were able to enjoy both Gerringong and Kiama ! Super brekky , great options and barista coffee !
We always enjoy staying at Gerringong Mecure. The rooms are quiet , spacious and clean. Bed comfortable and kitchenette and large fridge useful if you want to eat in your room. We choose to eat in the restaurant and the food never disappoints. Staff are always friendly and courteous.
Two night stay on a luxury escapes package. We were happy with the standard King room. Very large room Great size bathroom kitchette included. Full size fridge, microwave, cooktop, plates, cutlery, fry pans..kettle etc. Very handy. The hotel and rooms were spotless and welcoming. Didn't use the pool, but it looked a pleasant area. Breakfast buffet was good. Not extensive but certainly enough. Lots of TV/ movie channels. The hotel wasn't far from gerringong or the beach..great area. Would definitely return
I liked the place because it had a good position, it was clean, spacious, with comfortable bed and it even had a microwave oven. As suggestion, I would like the Mercure Resort to include a coffee in the list of the free drink voucher given to the Accor members.
Enjoyed a great weekend .As we drove up we thought why would Mercure have built a hotel here . But it’s actually a wonderful spot . Beautiful beach 10 min walk away and even nicer ones within 10 min drive . Really lovely small town strip also 10 min walk away. Hotel itself has nice spacious rooms , a good tennis court , 2 outdoor pools and a decent buffet breakfast . No water views but set in pretty green grounds . Excellent getaway .
This place is ok, clean, convenient and easy. However I wouldn’t call it a resort. I’ve stayed here twice in summer; one day they were cleaning the pool for what seemed hours and it was still full of leaves! My room was clean and modern but the bathroom had some wear and tear: rusting towel rail, a hole in the bath tub puttied up, and a shower screen that didn’t stop water landing on the floor. The restaurant was good and the staff were friendly. With a bit of TLC, this could be better
