Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved the new gardens. You cannot find anyone more hospitable
We were given lettuce and herbs. Beetroot and shallots from their communal garden. Also fresh eggs. We needed drive thru site. No problem. We stayed 18 months ago and loved coming back.

Lovely dog friendly small clean caravan park on a picturesque lake. Friendly communal enclosed fire pit, where people from the park can congregate to warm up and talk about their travels. Met some lovely people while being kept warm around a blazing fire. Best things were the dogs being treated like friends by everyone, and the wood being provided without extra charge. Haven’t come across that before. Amenities spotless. The lovely Bernice providing eggs for brekkie on arrival. All for $35 for a powered site. Good value I reckon. Not much happening in town but a decent IGA with everything to stock up on anything you might need. Altogether, a nice little stay for a couple of days to unwind and just relax.

We had a lovely grassed site beside the lake. Had the choice of this or a drive through site, nice to have a choice as many parks don’t give you any choice. Ammenities were clean. Great base to explore the area. Lovely walk around the entire lake and fun kayaking around the lake and out to the little island with black swans, ducks and lots of other birds. We were also given lovely fresh eggs as a welcome.

Lovely caravan park right on the lake. Very clean amenities. Large drive through sites and quite a number of cabins. There is no pool and there is no swimming allowed in the lake but the park is situated next door to the council operated pool.
The owner has just reduced the powered site rate to $15 per night in an attempt to lure campers that stay at the showgrounds. It seems to be working as there were quite a few vans here when we stayed.
Very nice park. We'll stay here on our next trip.

Great location, great people, fun place. Our group of 21 motor homes spent a few days here. The whole group were talking about it being the friendliest they had stayed at. It began from the moment we arrived and booked in and got to select the sites we liked not like usual when you are told where to go. Later on the Manager came to tell us they were lighting the camp fire and would we like to join them. It is under a roof and the smoke is funneled up through a chimney. Seats are provided around the fire, in the rec room and the beach kitchen so you need not drag yours around with you. On the saturday Col cooked a load of muffins for morning tea which we all enjoyed. It is only a short walk to the main shopping area and if you like fishing you can throw a line in and watch it from your van. Col provided us with plenty of wood each night and spent time talking about his interesting life around parks across Australia.
Would we go back again? You had better believe it, we have scheduled another weekend next year.

Who needs a motel when you have the Finley Lakeside Caravan Park? At reasonable rates, you get a beautiful clean cabin and a complimentary lake in your backyard! The cabins are well stocked, as with most caravan park cabins. There’s an electric stove top, mini fridge, pots and utensils to cook with, microwave, kettle, plates and bowls, all that you can ask for really. All cabins also have air conditioning for summer and a small heater for winter. In my twinshare cabin, the bunk bed area has been converted into a mini lounge with 2 soft couches and a TV. Granted, even my laptop’s screen is bigger than the TV, but hey this is a caravan park after all. The ensuite is wonderfully large and clean, with fantastic hot water supply with adequate pressures (not old dribbly things that you can’t even call a shower). The park is literally 2 minutes away from the town centre. As for the lake, there’s a little trail for jogging, and you can even fish if you wanted to. An all in one package. No matter whether you’re just looking for a place to sleep or a functional cabin for a family holiday, this is the obvious choice.

No wifi and cash only facility. Dogs allowed but not inside the cabins.

For those travelling with caravans, there are quite a number of powered and non-powered sites too. Shared toilets are quite decent and there is laundry and dryer facility. And sometimes, there may be complimentary muffins for all residents too!

If you want convenience and have your own accommodation this place is ok for passing through. Otherwise give the cabins a miss. They are tacky and very basic. Best thing about it is the lake right next door and the olympic pool on the other side.

This park is worth a visit. $20 a night for a powered site. Peaceful, quiet park. Amenities are old but clean. Owner set a lovely fire going around happy hour time. She's a hard worker making a go of it. I would recommend this park for a stopover. Finley is a nice little town.

Easy to find, very friendly place to stop with everyone including the pets. Lakeside views with every amenity required including a lovely fire pit area available to all patrons. Very clean with very friendly staff. More than happy to stay again. Thanks for a wonderful visit. The only downside is the lack of eftpos so take cash for arrival but rates are very satisfactory

I am unsure as I don't work there but give them a call. They are more than approachable.
