We needed a place to camp and this was the best location. We got in right in time, it closes for check in at 18:00 so make sure you book early. Not a bad spot, right on the river with beaches and close to the ocean. People were loud until 2am but I guess that can be expected while camping.

Great spot for campers or if you want a little cabin. Comfortable walking distance to water and clubs. Also has a clean open undercover outdoor area for cooking with tables and dish washing facilities, kettle, stove and bbq cooktop. Quaint little town with supermarket 5 minutes stroll out of the park. Views at the water spectacular. Checking in and out...

Travelling in a 36ft motor home wasn't a problem for north coast holiday park Evans Head. They cater very well from tent sites to small and very large vans. The amenity blocks were very clean and actually there were a few scattered out around the park. Office staff were very welcoming and nothing was a problem. We actually just rolled...

At the risk of destroying it all, I shouldnt say this, but the small coastal village of Evans Head is a delight for those wanting to chill out. The mad pace of life has bypassed Evans Head, but yet you can camp here with all the necessary mod cons. The park has direct walk access to the world class surf...

We had a picturesque unpowered site overlooking the river. The public park between the caravan park and the river provides plenty of space for kids to play. We enjoyed cycling along the several kilometres of paths that meander around the fishing village. There are plenty of cafes and clubs to dine at including the bowls club and RSL and you...

We have just completed out second stay at Evans Head Holiday Park....gorgeous place right on the inlet. We camp on the "Reserve" end of the park as we feel its a bit more like beach camping and there is a better atmosphere. The staff in the office (Sasha, Dana, Dee) are super helpful and its just a great place to...

Stayed here for one night. Was extremely busy when we were there. Sites are very close together, but have enough room- just close neighbours. Was a very large site with lots of lots. Facilities were OK. Showers and restrooms were kept fairly clean. Very light and noisy at night- but we may have lucked out with the surrounding families, so...

Well organised camp ground, very clean amenities and lovely walks around. Close to town - walking distance to everything. Camp sites limited for large vans and motorhomes so book in advance to get something suitable. REALLY great staff - helped us find a site we could fit on when the originally allocated site was too small - drove aroun d...
