Denman Van Village is a quiet and shady park, away from the main highway but walking distance to pubs, restaurants, shops, supermarket and clubs, in a bush-land setting with an abundance of trees for shade and native bird life for the keen bird watcher. Travelers often call our place an oasis. Denman Van Village features 59 fully-serviced sites with bitumen roadways, concrete annexe pads, cabins, park vans, caravan/camper van and camping sites. Facilities include free gas barbecue, guest laundry, dump point, EV chargers, free WiFi and air conditioning. Small pets are allowed in owners van/ motor home, they must remain on a leash while outside. One Pet Friendly cabin for those travelling with their pet.

Great value with helpful and friendly owners. Nice van park within walking distance to a beautiful town centre. Great layout but not really child friendly. All powered van sites have their own ensuites which are old but functional and clean. There was quite a few workers staying in the cabins but we found them to be respectful of other guests.

Although a drive thru site wasn't available, the friendly hosts allocated me a site where I could remain hitched and had uninterrupted views of the lake. The park's location is so serene and the grounds beautifully maintained. The small ensuite was a bonus and the BBQ area and fire pit added to the ambience. The town's main street is only a short walk away and its shops provided all that is needed for a caravan holiday. Lovely to wake up to the sound of birds and frogs! Being dog friendly, my boy enjoyed an off leash run around the park situated just across the road. Will definately stay here again!

Clean and quiet van park within easy walking distance to town. Each van site has its own ensuite. Nothing flash but serves the purpose. Staff friendly and accommodating. Beautiful meals at the Denman hotel. Nice boutique dress and home wear shops in the Main Street

The cabins here look modern clean and inviting. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the caravan sites. I have never stayed in a caravan park that has cost so much ( a whopping $50 a night) yet offered so little in terms of space. The site where we were placed was of sardine- sized portions, ie just enough room to park vehicle and caravan and virtually no space to sit outside due to the proximity of other vans. The site was also entirely gravel so did nothing to provide a cooling effect when the temp was in the 30s.For the record there did not appear to be any shade trees for the caravan sites. The ensuite attached to the site was modern and spotless, although we were forced to pay for this 'luxury' even though I made it clear when checking in that were self contained and only required power. Overall, as a caravaner, not a great experience.

The perfect place to stay in Denman! Pete and Janelle are amazing managers and great hosts. They make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive to the time you leave. The park is so clean and tidy and each caravan site has its own clean ensuite which is quite unique and user friendly. Just a short walk to a beautiful friendly town that has all that you need for a comfortable stay. We would highly recommend this park to any traveller and we look forward to our next visit in the near future.

The only redeeming feature of this park was the en-suite bathroom with plenty of hot water and good shower.
Otherwise, you got barking dogs at night (between 1.30 and 3.00 AM ) from neighboring houses, plus the half hourly coal trains (ALL night) coming down the nearby rail line , honking horns twice as they approached the nearby crossing.
PLUS we got charged $40.00 for the night when I found later the online advertised rate was $38.00 - I don't mind paying the extra two bucks - but I loath 'gouging' !!
Plus the advertised WiFi was'nt available it would appear.
Won't be going back there any time !

Lovely 1 night visit to this park . Very lovely owners right from the start of the booking over the phone , very welcoming. All sites have their own ensuite & we were in a drive through ensuite & stayed hooked up to get into our travels early the next day. Short walk to the pub for a meal. Lovely little area & so nice & clean . A must stop at this hidden gem caravan park.

Lovely quiet campsite off the beaten track abc a nice drive passed the Puka olive farm. The owners Pete and Janelle very helpful as we only booked a few days before getting there.
A Pet friendly campsite not too busy and well spaced sites all ensuite and next to a nice grass area to walk dogs, very easy access to the village of Denman for coffee and a good pub lunch :-)

We took our van. The park & staff were excellent. We had a family get together (20) It was very hot for our 6 days all we wanted was a swimming pool. A swimming pool without all the fancy water park facilities is needed. We wont be back until winter.

Stayed one night on our way to the coast. Very welcoming hosts which is always appreciated. Neat and tidy park with each powered site having its own en-suite bathroom. Pets welcome which for us is important. Great spot to stay.
