Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Easily the best motel in Denman the biggest problem is getting a room because it's often booked out with workers from the mine. Great bed, all amenities are top class, continental breakfast provided in the room. The beds are two king size singles zipped together, quite comfy. Large flatscreen with Foxtel, small kitchenette. You can get room service from the pub and they bring it to your room. I think they own the pub too.

Really pleased with our choice. Very nice modern room, modernised and very clean. Very nice to get juice, cereal and toast supplies in room. Fabulous hot shower. Huge TV. Walk over to the pub with a 10% discount. The pub was very friendly and we had a great meal at the Harvest restaurant in the pub. Very pleasant stay all round!

We had a one night stay at this motel and really enjoyed it. Room was a good size and very clean. Bed was excellent with extra blankets on a very cold night.
Motel is part of the local hotel, where we had a enjoyable meal. Good selection and good friendly service.
Would recommend both the motel and hotel dinner.

We just stopped for lunch with 3 children. The menu was on 3 different pages plus a special menu on a tv. 6 options weren’t available due to the meat order not in. The chicken was dry, chips not cooked properly. Children’s burger patties were dry and had no flavour. The lady behind the bar was on the phone as we waited at the bar for drinks. She was organising her after party tickets. She also didn’t know if there was a change table. We were waiting to order our food and I had my small child on my hip and the bar lady was ordering her lunch and said I don’t want all that salad s%#t on my plate. Very disappointed as we are at the Royal across the road last time and it was amazing. We won’t be returning to the Denman Hotel.

My wife and I called into the Denman Hotel’s restaurant for lunch. Their restaurant was called Harvest. Knowing that pub grub is not 5 star, we didn’t have high expectations. Nevertheless, you often get well cooked food of good proportions in the country. I ordered the chicken schnitzel, and my wife ordered the rissoles with mash and gravy. $45. Certainly overpriced for a pub lunch. Well, we waited for half an hour. No one else was in the pub restaurant. Finally, the meals came out. My schnitzel was very small for the price. My wife’s rissoles and mash were cold. She asked the waitress to warm it up. Sure enough, her meal came back out five minutes later, and was only warm. The rissoles were tasteless, sausage meat type.

I don’t usually give bad reviews, but we certainly won’t come back to this restaurant again. I have had better, quicker and cheaper meals at McDonalds.

Filthy, disgusting, place next to noisy train line with noisy pub on premises. Staff behaviour unacceptable. Uninterested in any complaints, room was filthy but they refused to check it because they trust their cleaners and know they do a good job. Arrived late with young children, went and ate at the other pub in town then back to the room to sleep.
Worst night I have ever experienced in a motel.
Bugs in bed, hairs all over the bathroom floor and toilet, filthy fridge, phone, bin, window, glasses, door handle etc.
This was my worst ever hotel experience and I have travelled to many countries and stayed in many types of accommodation.
A disgrace of a place run by abusive, bullying, unprofessional staff and management.

Antipasto was disappointing. Seriously the worst ever presented in my experience.

I was confused what to do with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Only small dry crackers to dip resulting in zero adhesion to the cracker.

Great chips.

We stayed overnight on the way to Western NSW. The room was very clean and comfortable. Although air-conditioned we found the room hot or a little stuffy through the night. The bed was OK but not great. The pillow I am sure would be loved by some but not by me (I usually travel with my pillow so my fault).
Included was a "Continental" breakfast which was adequate for our purposes although not flash.
The Motel is right in town and although we didn't go to the Restaurant it is very close.
Denman is a great little town and we enjoyed our stay. A few places to eat.

Stayed with family in an interconnecting rooms, rooms are clean, all equipment in room are good quality and in top working order. Kettle, toaster, cuttleries provided were clean. Rooms were clean and did not smell of cigarette smoke nor deodorant cleaning spray.
Basic breakfast provided were adequate, kept us going untill the coffee shops were openned.
Took me an hour an 20 minutes easy drive from Pokolbin to Denman. Worth it, since the rate was very affordable.
Check in and out easy, staff friendly. My email to owner and was promptly answered, she called me back and very foward with rate and she even booked dinner reservations for me. Best part? motel is walking distance to the pub and a fantastic restaurant.

I recently stayed at the Grapevine Hotel for business purposes. Check in was very simple, and easy to do.
The room I had was very clean and in good repair. Wireless internet access was available by purchasing a prepaid card from reception, and was cheap for 24hr access.
There is a restuarant in the hotel area of the complex which has some very reasonable prices meals. They were all of very good quality.
The main town was a very easy walk (approx 200 metres) from the hotel.
