Detailed Reviews
We stayed as a family for 2 nights in the glamping tents located opposite the beach section of the river. They were modern, comfortably (air con included) and a small little kitchen and en suite with shower. All your needs are catered for with a fridge, microwave and bbq. Bunk beds for the kids were great too. There was no TV which was great.
The location was great which meant we could walk into town and the river/beach area a stones throw away. Would recommend and like to return.

We stayed over the summer holidays when any other year the park would have been pumping. Alas, due to the border lockdowns we were the vast majority of a handful of visitors to the park over this weekend. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. They allowed us to take advantage of the extra space and take up as many sites as we needed to fit 3 caravans and all the bikes, blow up boats and other junk you need to lug about while holidaying with kids. They also gave us early check in and super late check out for which we are so grateful.
All the facilities are spotless and well maintained, The playground and jumping pillow were a hit with the kids, the camp kitchen is spacious and right next to the playground (bonus) with a misting fan that made a big difference on the hot evenings of dish washing. Making pizzas in the camp kitchen pizza oven was a great change from BBQ snags.
The McLean Beach is just outside the front gates, a 2 minute walk from our van sites. It’s a lovely spot with toilets onsite too. A short walk to the back of the park and down to the riverbank you can hop on your inflatables and float down the beautiful Edward for about 25 min back to the beach.
Town is minutes away. A short bike ride to IGA or Coles was so simple. AND while we’re talking about town, there’s a great park and pump track in town, a beautifully painted solo worth a squid, and a huge swimming pool and splash park too!
We will most certainly be back, and hopefully once the border opens again everyone else will head back there too.

Our family spent New Years 21/22 at McLean Beach Holiday Park. We had a great time, with good clean amenities and friendly people in the park and at Deniliquin. We appreciated it was not as busy as a tourist hot spot and enjoyed that Deniliquin kept prices of food/ice down and not inflated for tourists! My only suggestion would be to add some activities for quests for Christmas/Easter periods. Would have loved a band to watch new years, or pancakes or anything really to get the camp and kids excited.

Great camp site. Nice and green and park is very tidy. I do think the price of site is a little high. We have 2 small kids under 4 and at $61 a night as you pay extra for kids it has been the most expensive park we have stayed at. We have never been charged for kids before.
Staff are very friendly and helpful and park has great facilities for the kids. Also being on the river is great! Had a lovely weekend away and look forward to the next trip.

The management were friendly and helpful. Lovely spot right on the river but close to the town amenities. Spacious units and sites. Hearing the birds nest every night was delightful. Secure entry/exit from the park meant I wasn’t concerned about my vehicles security.

I'd never stayed in a glamping hut before and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The hut overlooked the river and was really keen with a kitchenette, bathroom and bunk beds if you're staying with kids. I went for a beautiful walk in the morning by the river and was surrounded by birds. A beautiful spot.

I'm an annual, and I love it here. Only a two minute walk from my caravan, theres a lot of space to do things like frisbee and kick the footy when the campground is empty, and most annuals are pretty, nice, and although I havent met them, the new managers sound amazing. Rivers beautiful, but it does get pretty busy during summer and peak times. Perfect for skiing and swimming, and you can even head over to the back beach for a fish, and travel down the river to the main beach on a half an hour float!!
