Wednesday 17th February 2021 Dinner at the Globe A truly obnoxious female bar staff member right from the get go. This was reflected in her rude manner in the way she instructed us to covid check in at the door way , then proceeding to stand at the bar like a mute awaiting our drink order . With drinks served and an eftpos device thrusted under my nose without an “anything else today ? Or that’s $19 thank you” I paid for the drinks and sat in the main bar . The burger, schnitzel, and steaks were of a decent country pub style and the waitress was pleasant. Terribly unfortunate for the young woman working the bar she had to endure serving the only three patrons(us) in the main bar area twice more , then without warning from her “we are shut”(insert rude bar staff emoji here ) when approaching the bar for our forth drink order . As the days takings were being counted on the bar. Her level of customer service was equally matched with her security measures. Poor and not thought out at all . Big Audio Dynamite once wrote a jovial song called ‘The Globe’ which is a truly enjoyable song. The songs lasting upbeat lyrics and tune will now only remind me of the semi curmudgeon woman that was working there the time myself and my friends visited.

Enjoyed friendly welcoming staff as soon as we walked in. Hubbies meal was a parmie and it was huge. I had Kiev, slightly burnt on outside and chewy. Exception to rule l believe, not to much to complain about. Beers were ice cold. Yes l would go back for another meal

One of the best pubs I’ve been to, from the lovely young man behind the bar to the very pleasant efficient waitress and the food omg! The complimentary huge g loaf served straight from the oven with a platter of garlic, sun dried tomato and herb butters was divine. Our meals were delicious and very generous in size. All this complimented by the beautiful surroundings of the historic restored hotel. Highly recommended and a must for anyone to include as a great casual dining experience when visiting Deni. 10/10 for the staff and management

Went to the Globe for lunch after being recommended by the caravan park owner. Meal was fantastic and very well priced. We tried to go back for dinner but it was booked out on a Tuesday. Highly recommend.
