Clean and tidy rooms, fantastic staff, everything a long distance traveller needed. Rooms were far enough off the road to avoid traffic noise, beds were soft but very comfy. I would stay again. I left my pillow behind and they held it for me to collect on my return trip. Thank you.

Pulled in for the night and what a nice welcoming it was. Staff great and our room upon opening door was a pleasant surprise, modern, spacious enough and the softest of pillows and comfortable king size bed. The towels were so soft and fluffy. Thank you for enjoyable stay.

The owners and managers Ron & Semret are an absolutely delightful couple that are cheerful, friendly and very professional in running this motel. We had a 4 day stay here and found the place very nice staying in a deluxe queen room. Room service is offered every day including biscuits, the rooms cleaned to be Covid safe, very comfortable lounge and kitchenette with toaster jug and microwave. The motels in Coonabarrabran are on the Newell Hwy however by the time bedtime arrives there is minimal traffic noise being set back away from the road. We will definitely stay again when visiting the spectacular Warrumbungles and Dark Park nearby.

There was not much choice available when we booked this hotel. The room was extremely small but clean. Bed was a bit soft and the noise from the B doubles rolling into town was a bit annoying but to tell the truth we were so tired from our hikes that it wasn't that much of a problem. Request a room away from the road if possible. Managers were friendly. As a base for a visit to the Warrumbungles it's adequate.

The Azalea Motel is a clean, well-appointed drive-in motel just outside Coonabarabran, the gateway to the Warrumbungles. My family of four (two adults, two kids) stayed in the family room, which had a queen-size bed and a single bed in one room, another room with a single bed, and a bathroom with a shower. It is set in pleasant grounds, with outdoor lounges in the garden, a gazebo with a barbeque and a small swimming pool. Semret and Ron are excellent hosts - we mostly dealt with Semret and she was unfailingly friendly and kind. As an example, I went to ask if the motel had a laundry service and she said it didn't but she would be happy to wash a bag of laundry for us. She washed and dried it the same night, free of charge, just as a favour! Thank you again. The only improvement I would suggest is on behalf of my kids - that perhaps the expansive grounds could have a trampoline. The neighbour's kids had a trampoline and seemed to be on it, having fun, constantly, so my kids were a bit envious. :-)
