Although located at the end of the main street, it was still walking distance and also conveniently located directly behind the Chinese restaurant. The two bedrooms were huge and the renovated bathroom meant good showers. Continental breakfast for those booking direct with the hotel. Only issue was parking in front of rooms was sometimes an issue as there were more rooms than parking spots so you weren't always able to park in front of your room

We have travelled through Coonabarabran for many years now and always enjoy stopping at the Acacia Motor Lodge . We have always been impressed , the reception team , the quality of the rooms and cleanliness . That’s why we kept coming back and recommending friends do the same if travelling through . This visit however , I took one look at the lounge in the room and felt dirty , stained , probably the owners do not know . The Carpet in our room was stained also . The Cabinet with the fridge , the door needs repair .

No need to be cynical about the accuracy of the reviews; they are spot on. The room is large and very comfortable.Breakfast is provided making this excellent value. The staff are very welcoming and happily assist with all queries. An excellent place to stay.

Deluxe family suite was perfect for a family of four, with separate bed room for our two teenagers. It was roomy, clean, quiet and well equipped. We enjoyed the pool and air conditioning. We will definitely stay here again when travelling through Coonabarabran.

Bob was super helpful as we were there to attend a funeral. We were lucky enough to get one of the King size beds, just like being at home. Even better were the fairly new king size bath sheets. Lovely and big, soft and fluffy. Some five star City hotels could learn that these little things make a real difference!! Could only give four stars, as the restaurant was unavailable, due to a function being held there.

One of the best motels we have had the pleasure of staying. From the day we booked, we received regular communication from Bob, Sheree and staff, which was very important during this stressful Covid period. On arrival, we were greeted by Bob, who was extremely helpful, obliging and professional. The room, No 3,on the ground floor was spacious, well equipped and had a bathroom with a large shower, bath and fresh fluffy, large white towels. Other facilities included a microwave, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities and free internet. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows soft. There is a 3 seater lounge, desk and ample cupboard space. A restaurant is available but when we were there, it was closed. Other dining is available nearby. A perfectly adequate uncooked breakfast was also provided to the room. Due to Covid restrictions the restaurant was unavailable. A pool is available to cater for all age groups. Ample parking is provided. It is almost worth making the trip to Coonabarabran just to stay with Bob and Sheree.

Had a great stay - with the size of the room, pool side location, and lovely inclusions it felt more like a resort than a motel! Stayed in a triple room and it was huge, as was the bathroom, which included a bath. Got Chinese takeaway from the classic restaurant next door. Bed was weird, I think it had a rubber sheet on it maybe?
