This motel is centrally located and is the most modern and spacious of 7 motels we've used in the last fortnight. The massive bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was quiet. The kettle and large mugs, the shampoo and conditioner, and other items are all of the highest quality. Our room was across a quiet street from Reception and the restaurant. We would highly recommend this motel and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our one night visit in Coonabarabran was highlighted by the standard of our ground floor unit at Acacia Lodge.

Acacia Lodge has a relatively modern look from the street and is well situated in mid town, behind the Bowling Club and next to the Chinese restaurant.

The room size of our unit was surprisingly generous. The unit plan allowed for a separate bathroom, which was split between the toilet and shower in one room and the wash basin in another.

There was a separate area for a good sized wardrobe and a well appointed kitchenette, with a microwave, toaster, jug, and fridge.

The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room temperature was well controlled by the aircon. We did not detect any noise either from road traffic, adjoining rooms or from rooms above.

The feature for us was the careful consideration to details by Bob, the owner and Manager, who personally inspected the room for cleanliness before our occupation, the offers to purchase frozen meals in need, as there wasn’t much open in Coonabarabran on a Sunday night, and the Lodge’s complimentary continental breakfast - a welcome gesture. Fresh milk was provided on check in. Well done and thank you Bob.

You could also purchase reasonably priced wines and beers from the Reception.

The lodge restaurant wasn’t open on a Sunday night, but we had decided to eat out at the Imperial Hotel anyway.

A very comfortable and restful stay - what more can you ask for over a one night stay. However, we were genuinely impressed and with hindsight feel we received good value for money. We certainly recommend this venue for your next stay in Coonabarabran.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Acacia Motor Lodge. Our room was so spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean! It had everything you could want, comfy beds, table and chairs, walk in shower with a huge bath also a great little kitchenette with a full size fridge, which was great to refreeze ice bricks for the next day. The decor was really modern, with two tv's, great wifi, two aircons and the fantastic continental breakfast, which was included in our room rate, was delivered to us all prepared on a tray the night before. The owners were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The location of the motel was excellent, close to all amenities, also having a lovely restaurant on site, is a wonderful advantage for travellers. We felt we were in luxury while staying at The Acacia Motor Lodge, and want to thank Bob for his hospitality, and in this uncertain time with covid 19, knowing our room was spotless, was extremely comforting for my husband and I. We will definately be staying at the Acacia Motor Lodge next time we are in Coonabarabran, and we highly recommend this wonderful motel to all travellers!

A lovely spacious room with nice decor. Lounge for seating desk for writing and lots of bench space. Real milk with good coffee bags! Microwave which is excellent for traveller's. Big bathroom with nice hot shower and a bath tub. Nice touch leaving a windscreen squiggie outside the rooms so you can clean your car! Just need new mats outside the door so we don't bring dirt into the lovely rooms.

One of the best motels we have had the pleasure of staying.
From the day we booked, we received regular communication from Bob, Sheree and staff, which was very important during this stressful Covid period.
On arrival, we were greeted by Bob, who was extremely helpful, obliging and professional.
The room, No 3,on the ground floor was spacious, well equipped and had a bathroom with a large shower, bath and fresh fluffy, large white towels. Other facilities included a microwave, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities and free internet. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows soft. There is a 3 seater lounge, desk and ample cupboard space.
A restaurant is available but when we were there, it was closed. Other dining is available nearby.
A perfectly adequate uncooked breakfast was also provided to the room. Due to Covid restrictions the restaurant was unavailable.
A pool is available to cater for all age groups.
Ample parking is provided.
It is almost worth making the trip to Coonabarabran just to stay with Bob and Sheree.

Booked for four nights but had to cancel two, no cancellation fees. My wife and I have travelled internationally extensively and know a good motel when we stay there. This one the Acacia Lodge had a large room with double and single bed, very comfortable and a great night sleep, The bathroom, Shower/toilet/bath were spotless. The adjoining restaurant had great service and excellent food. All in all I would rate it 5 star.

We were another couple dashing home and needed a short notice overnight stay. We called from the car and the booking was made very easy. Checking in for two very weary travellers was so easy, very hygienic, very friendly and understanding. We picked a very nice and large continental breakfast to take to our room. The restaurant & bar is closed, as per the rules, but you can purchase drinks at reception at very reasonable prices. The room was perfect; modern, large, well appointed, spacious bathroom with open shower with rain head, full sized bath, good quality towels and toiletries and everything was exceptionally clean 😊 I must also mention the bed with clean, crisp linen was an absolute joy. Huge thanks to the Acacia, I wish you the best throughout these crazy times.

I stayed here for two nights, I was travelling alone for work. I booked direct and got free brekkie :) Plain and simple honest country service with a smile. In the morning I got up to go out in my car and there was a bucket of warm soapy water with squeegee to wash my car windows, brekkie was delivered to my room with a smile, my changes to my brekkie order were accommodated without issue, there was a generous amount of room to move around in the room. My stay was very pleasant indeed. I was not disturbed and felt safe and secure in my room.

Although located at the end of the main street, it was still walking distance and also conveniently located directly behind the Chinese restaurant. The two bedrooms were huge and the renovated bathroom meant good showers. Continental breakfast for those booking direct with the hotel. Only issue was parking in front of rooms was sometimes an issue as there were more rooms than parking spots so you weren't always able to park in front of your room
