The motel itself is very nice and the beds are comfortable and the rooms clean and spacious and well appointed with power outlets, seating, table, desks and the usual motel features. There was a lot of noise at night from locals in the street and barking dogs nearby. It’s a shame because the motel is nice but the locals ruin the surrounding atmosphere.

We stayed here in January for 1 night checking in to a Family Suite. It had a very comfortable king bed, spacious room and a seperate room with 3 single beds. It was well appointed and had everything our family of 5 needed for our stay. Able to walk out of the room to the pool area which was great. The lady and gentleman that were running the Motor Lodge were very attentive. Walking distance to the town area and a great Chinese restaurant next door. Definitely the best looking motor lodge in town. Highly recommend it to other families.

Our Family Spa Suite had a King bed in one room and 3 King singles in the other room. The suite was clean and well maintained. It had a large balcony overlooking the pool and a bath size spa. We did not hear any traffic noise in the room. The free continental breakfast (if you book directly with the hotel, otherwise $10 per person) was delivered to our room the night before. There was a fridge, a toaster and a microwave in the room.

I stayed one night while on a COVID road trip. Pluses: freshly renovated, giant rooms, quality linen, good bathroom, strong water pressure, highway noise minimal though not absent. Minus: breakfast was modest 1970s motel fare. COVID is blamed, but might something more imaginative be available? I’d have paid anything they asked.

A great choice for Coonabarabran - large spacious deluxe room, very clean, hot shower and comfy king size bed. Could hear a few trucks on highway but no escaping this - they come through centre of town! Lovely swimming pool after hot day of walking in magnificent Warrumbungles National Park. This place could be excellent with attention to just a few small details eg pictures on walls, maybe a coloured cushion?, info on local attractions, could not find Foxtel (?), no crockery like plates, bowls, knife and fork (can get from reception if you ask) etc
