Detailed Reviews
The rooms are old and basic and also shared bathrooms, but is an old pub so that should not be a surprise. The greatest asset for guests is the big old verandah which has lovely views over the town.
There is no aircon in the rooms, just a fan but that was OK on the night we stayed (Jan 2017). There are tea/ coffee making facilities in the communal kitchen, and also a small fridge. At $60 double it was good value money. Recommended if you like old pubs.

Just up the road from our motel, we opted to dine again here in view of previous experiences. A good choice. Two roast pork dinners and a bottle of wine for $42. The meal was delicious with a variety of well cooked vegetables, several slices of tender, succulent pork with lashings of gravy, and apple sauce, all beautifully presented. We sat at a table in the bar, in front of a hot fire. What more could you ask for?

We arrived without a booking and found the staff super friendly and helpful. We had our dinner booked our room which was comfortable and clean. Shared bathroom and toilet facilities.
Located on the main street so close to shops and easy to find.

Had dinner here and ordered the lamb cutlets and rump steak. The lamb cutlets were nice but the rump steak was the biggest rump I'd ever had and it was cooked to perfection! Dinner was served fast and the staff were super polite and friendly too! Best meal we've had in a long time.

The barmaid was rude, patronising and condescending when I asked if I could have a clean glass as the glass was filthy. She stated "We don't polish the glasses here" or words to that effect. The second glass she picked up was dirty too. She cleaned it with a paper towel and asked "Is that good enough?" She didn't bother to check if the rest of the glasses were clean. Her manner was disgraceful. I asked if she could turn the TV on as I was very interested to catch up with Sydney news. She turned it on but left the radio on loud... Good luck with selling this pub...
