Was recommended this place from a friend who said perfectly location off the highway, across the road from a club that has a great feed and well priced. Tick in the box for all 3. Something of major interest for you is you need to ring the hotel for a booking as they seem to have moved away from booking sites as they mainly have “miners” or company people in there. Found the place met all expectations for an outback hotel Would have given excellent rating as the breakfast was only $10 but we got what was left overs from the earlier customers Definitely suggest you stay here (the feed at the club was the best)

It was situated off the main drag, and across the road from the Bowls and Golf Club. The room was spotless and management and reception staff were very friendly and efficient. Popped into the Dining room for Breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised that we could select continental as well as cooked resting in the bain marie. All very nice, and all for the cost of $10 per person! Just goes to show that these owners appreciate you choosing their property and give something back in return! Well Done!

This motel takes family friendly to the new level of home away from home, led by Sally. Most of the other guests were travelling for work, repeat visitors always a good sign in regional NSW. Great COVIDSAFE breakfast, free parking & wifi clean beds & facilities including a laundry with outside clothes line just like home- walking distance to restaurants a bonus. Will definitely visit again.

This was our 2nd stay & will stay again when coming this way. Booked by phone & the confirmation was emailed thru' to us. A large carport in front of the room door provided for easy access between the car & room. A minor issue was that all the power points were in use requiring some shuffling around of connections to lamps/electric blanket/jug/device chargers/clock radio. A great bathroom with a very big shower space & good size vanity. Off the highway so a quiet locaton.

We had a lovely stay at this motel - the room was newly renovated and although not the largest we experienced on our trip there was still more than enough space for all our belongings, and the bathroom was very spacious. Very clean and the beds were comfy. The staff were delightful and although we didn't make use of it, the breakfast room looked great. Good location within town.

Stayed overnight. Easy check in. Room was very modern, large, spotlessly clean. Big bathroom with a a FABULOUS hot shower, nice toiletries. Room has a very comfortable arm chair for staying up reading, coffee/tea and arbors biscuits! Bed is very comfortable (plushy soft rather than super hard as most motels seem to have), nice sheets and there’s air con if you get cold
All up a really good motel.
And if your looking for a good meal, the Thai restaurant was surprisingly good.

Booked direct with motel, arrived early but no trouble. Room was very comfortable, Bar fridge in room which I didn't use but the prices were very reasonable. We left very early in morning but have no hesitation in saying would stay again if travelling through Cobar

After travelling 10.30 hrs from Adelaide i finally arrive at the Central Motor inn on a Sunday, when chatting to sally and AnneMarie, i was told no rush, we close at 9pm on Sundays. I was greeted by sally and the rooms were clean ,modern and comfortable. I have worked in the hospitality area for a number of years, and the staff and accommodation are 10 stars. Congratulations to all staff and directors, you run a memorable, friendly well run business, meeting all the customers needs. I even got to swim in a clean refreshing pool. Excellent Service. Well done. Your the best.

This motel is not in a quiet part of town as they advertise. There’s a venue/bar right across the road that played very loud music until midnight. It was an unpleasant experience as you can imagine. My friend and I also booked the executive twin room but didn’t get it because, as was told by the manager, the booking system doesn’t show the type of room actually booked. When I tried to speak to the manager in the morning about it she showed no concern, stating none of it was their fault.

Hi Julie, thanks for letting us know about your stay. Sorry that you didn't enjoy your nights stay with us, like I did try to explained to you, if you had come to see us at 2pm when you checked in we would have been able to rectify the room mistake instead of waiting until 9am the following day. We do advertise that we are a quiet location as we are off of the main highway. We also advertise that are directly adjacent to our local Bowling and Golf Club which is a licensed venue and well within their rights to host events which they did that night as it was Cobar Races weekend which is a large community event for our town. I am sorry I couldn't give you the nights accommodation for free as you asked for the morning of departure, maybe it would be helpful to search community events in the area you are staying to avoid this from happening in your future travels in small country communities.

We have been on the road for 5 days straight towing our broken caravan back to Tasmania. We have been blown away by the understanding and helpfulness of all those we have dealt with on the way. It was no different here, the friendly welcome, the willingness to allow us to put caravan on site was much appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean,and at last a chair to sit in. Bed was comfortable and we were warm. Enjoyed our meal at local Bowls Club. Would definitely stay again if back this way.
