We have stayed in many places, and as a germ-a-phobe with OCD, am very fussy. We stayed here many years ago and thought we would revisit it, and were pleasantly surprised, The room was spotlessly clean and smelt very fresh, and the bathroom was immaculate. The host and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the meals at the Steakhouse were outstanding. The only downside is that there is not a lot to do around Casino, but we were happy enough to just have a very relaxing few days.

Honestly what a lovely little motel. Stayed here for work and was so glad I did. I often travel to regional towns and this one really was the best. The steakhouse was nice and super lovely for a worry free dinner. The owners are so friendly and make you feel safe. The beds and pillows were actually really comfy. Small things like that and having a water in the fridge make all the difference when you’re traveling on the road all day. Thank you for your hospitality and care.

Stayed here for business around the local area. Comfortable bed and pillows, with crisp sheets! Clean and spacious rooms. I love the quiet location, the sound of geckos and frogs! Friendly and attentive staff at reception and the restaurant. The food at the Steakhouse is generous, delicious and perfectly cooked steaks. I really appreciated the cold bottled water in the fridge after travelling all day.

Lovely peaceful spot. large updated rooms with clean bathroom and comfy bed. Very friendly staff that help with a great stay. I would really recommend this motel if staying in Casino. They even give you a complimentary bottle of water which is a nice touch. We didn’t have the opportunity to eat at the steak house but the menu looked good if you didn’t want to eat elsewhere.

Birthday celebration, disappointing food . Paid $185 four people . Poor quality tough fatty steaks, old tasteless cold salads , microwave over cooked vegetables in in chicken stock. We are local , very disappointing , what’s going on in our beef capital?

We made a family booking for 20 people at the restaurant; we also confirmed this booking twice over the preceding couple of weeks (as we were travelling from interstate). When we arrived at the restaurant we were informed that it was $35 per head (upfront) and there was a limited, set menu - at no stage during our previous phone calls was this mentioned. Our abrupt waitress informed us that our menu choices were steak, chicken breast or fish (she couldn't tell us what type of fish & wasn't interested in finding out). The chicken & fish didn't come with sauce - just plain off the grill/pan & we had to get whatever veg/salad was in the dodgy looking salad bar near the front door. Dessert looked like supermarket cheese cake etc from another fridge near the salad bar. I ordered eye fillet steak (medium-rare), which then arrived as well-done... The waitress then informed me that there "may be a slim chance" that they could cook another steak... Poor service, Very average food & terrible communication from the owner/manager (and this was a booking for 20 people!). I will never eat at this restaurant again, and I will not recommend it to anyone.

This is a comfortable place to stay although a little bit dated. Just on the edge of town. Busy highway location but set well back from the road. Adjacent Steakhouse restaurant but didnt actually eat there - was a bit pricey for a country meal.

A great place to stay with plenty of country hospitality. The rooms were clean and cozy. The restaurant was fantastic with great steaks, the owner sat down and had a beer with us. The breakfast was home cooked and huge. Well worth the price.

We had the family room. There was mouse/ rat poo on the benches when we arrived. Cob webs under cupboards, the rooms smelt, as there was no ventilation. The service was horrible. No one made beds, we had to go buy our own tissues and toilet paper as there was no room service. Rubbish from room wasn't emptied! We were charged full price and offered no services. We would never go back or recommend this place. We tried to discuss pricing with owner, he threw a tantrum and yelled at us!

Up till now my wife and I have lived in fear of our next stay in a Casino Motel while visiting our Grand Kids. No more fear we have discovered the Clydesdale,great hosts,beautifully appointed and clean room,incredibly comfortable bed,quiet country aspect and great value. Thanks guys,Trevor &Deb Woods.
