Detailed Reviews
I was fortunate to be booked into the Squatters Homestead Motel for work undertaking Fire support at the Casino Fire Control Centre. I spent 6 nights with these generous, humourous, down to earth hosts. Nothing was too much trouble; rooms were clean, generous sized, and very the bed was very comfortable. Trudy and Pete even invited me to join them and their friends on New Years Eve. I would recommend this motel to anyone travelling too or through Casino. It was like staying with great funny family friends. Pete “dad jokes” were the icing on a great stay.
Thankyou T and P.

This property was located in the heart of Casino in a great location and is walking distance to everything you would need. Room is clean and comfortable enough but is very dated and badly needs updating. Owners were very friendly and welcoming.

So clean and fresh. Everything you could need was thought of. Good air con. And Netflix! The host was very welcoming. KFC and McDonalds across the road and a very short 5 min walk to the main street with shops and banks.

Stayed here for four nights for a geocaching/golf holiday. Right from check in Trudi and Peter were so friendly and helpful. Room was great, beds were comfortable, room was clean and well appointed and bathroom was good with lovely hot water. Air con and Netflix were a bonus. Handy to everything and traffic noise wasn't a real issue. Would come back again and thoroughly recommend.

Loved this place great location .close to KFC & MACCAS & just a block away from the town shops & hotel that served a great meal at reasonable prices.
The owners picked us up from the railway station & returned us there ..Much appreciated..
The beds were comfy and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was available and there were snacks to purchase as well as meat packs to cook on the BBQ that was in the yard.
Definitely would stay there again.

The best motel I have ever stayed at. Spotlessly clean rooms and a great location. Peter and Trudi made us feel welcome upon our arrival. They were also a wealth of information for local attractions and points of interest. We will be back very soon for our next stay

We stayed here on our trip to visit family. The rooms were immaculate, the shower has a shelf for your shampoo and conditioner which I think is amazing!
The hosts Pete and his wife were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We will be returning on any more trips down south. 10/10

Could not fault the hospitality we received. From the moment we arrived through to key drop off. Just a lovely reception and this is evident in the care with the rooms. A comfortable nights sleep and a great stopover. Many many thanks. Will recommend highly.
