We loved our 3 night stay at 28 Degrees. It was an oasis in the middle of busy Byron and an easy walk to everything. You could tell immediately the hosts were completely committed to guests' comfort during their stay. Nice touches were the fresh linens and calm decor, the sounds of running water around the property and the tropical garden outlook, the feeling that your space was private - and the home made granola, compote and yoghurt, filter coffee and teas were great - we didn't leave our room before dinner on day 1 we were so relaxed. Looking forward to visiting this lovely guest house again for a Byron holiday. Highly recommended.

We recently saw a deal in the paper for a special get away in Byron Bay. 28 Degrees has a winter escape package, includes lunch at Beach Byron Bay and we decided to book a midweek escape. We booked directly with 28 Degrees and it was suggested we have lunch on arrival which was a excellent way to start our get away. Deb and Maureen manage a beautiful establishment. The rooms are beautifully appointed, and have been well thought out and extremely private. 28 Degrees has off street parking and is within walking distance of the beach and main shopping/restaurant area. All in all a very peaceful and relaxing experience.

Truly such a beautiful place to stay! So close to town and easy to walk everywhere yet such a private and tranquil space! 28 degrees epitomizes luxury and relaxation and exudes romanticism - whilst also allowing you the convenience of being in the heart of Byron and two blocks to the beach.
The host and staff are welcoming, informative, generous with their time to ensure you know all the best dinner venues and ensuring you have a pleasant stay.

28 decrees, you have out done yourself. The most beautiful room, with high quality decor. From bedding which was all linen, beautiful high King bed and very comfy pillows were great. Decor was beautiful bathroom was stunning, and plunge was perfect warm👌 in its very quiet and peaceful place. Perfect to unwind and relax and have glass of wine.
Maureen was very welcoming on arrival, gave us a tour of the room and explaining everything we need to know around the area.
Shops and restaurants are a block or two away, everything is walking distance and they also have a cinema which 5min walk, was fantastic. Staff are out standing and are there to help out anytime and clean your room every morning and top up anything that have used.

There is so much to love about 28 degrees guest house in Byron Bay. The decor is high end but the vibe is definitely relaxed. My daughter and I enjoyed 7 nights in one of the newer rooms for some much needed R&R and left feeling very spoiled and much more relaxed. I especially loved the little touches like the homemade Granola and fruit compote, the complimentary beverages and luxury bedding. And I have to say the bed is THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Thank you Deb and Lindon for a wonderful break from life for a few days.

Where to begin with this gorgeous weekend away.
I don't normally leave reviews but this incredibly special experience is the least I can do and has left me wanting to share my appreciation for others to encounter.
From the moment I called Deb (owner) and her wonderful team at 28 Degrees, I knew I had found the right place for our special celebratory weekend away. Deb goes above and beyond, right through to booking restaurants and creating a fabulous itinerary for our stay.
Arriving made my partner and I burst into happiness, Deb and her team waiting for us at the front door to welcome us to this beautiful property. We were then guided into our room and it instantly had such an abundance of gorgeous energy. From the insanely comfortable bedding, oversized bathroom to the sublime plunge pool, it honestly felt like we were staying at a luxury home that you wouldn't have access to.
The location is unbelievable. We didn't use ride share apps once. All of Byron's best local shopping boutiques, cafes and restaurants are a (very) short walk.
Photo's do not do this property justice. The gardens, cleanliness, to nice touches like waking up to lit incense drifting through the home, also seeing how well staff are treated (like one big family) - we've really never experienced anything like this. We've stayed at some incredible hotels across the world, if only Deb had a property in each major city!
Deb made us feel like a family member (truly) and we have no doubt that we will be staying at 28 Degrees again, but next time extending the trip for at least a week and inviting our nearest and dearest to experience this overwhelming boutique hotel journey.

28 Degrees was everything it promised to be. The premium price afforded pure luxury and attention to detail in all elements of our staff.
We were extremely lucky to be in Byron Bay when there were very few other travellers so we had the main house which included pool, kitchen and living areas completely to ourselves. There was also plenty of lavishly appointed outdoor spaces around the place to follow the morning sun from the pool area to the afternoon sun in the front courtyard with a book.
We splurged on the Luxury Master Room and were not disappointed, along with the main house spaces we also had a separate sitting room in our bedroom, a private wrap around deck and bathtub.
The staff were super friendly and attentive, they even provided us some gluten free treats especially for me from Sunday Sustainable Bakery one morning. We booked the winter special receiving a half price massage each and dinner at di Vino's.
The location is great we parked our car in the driveway and walked everywhere. 100 metres from daily coffee and fresh juices, 1 block from dinner at The Mez Club, 2 blocks from dinner at Bang Bang, 3 blocks from the beach and beachside pub.
The whole boutique space is full to the brim with impeccable style, beautiful design and opulent touches to ensure your stay is a luxuriously unique experience. We plan to return in the future with friends so we can immerse ourselves again in this dreamy stay.

A wonderful stay for 3 nights. A beautiful room very nicely styled and in the perfect location in the heart of Byron Bay we could walk everywhere. No TV was a good thing and it was very relaxing. There was a charging station for the electric car we hired. Staff were extremely helpful and we will definetly be back.
