We stayed in the upstairs unit which was a lovely experience. It had a living area with microwave, fridge, coffee maker, dishes, cutlery, sink with dish detergent and sponge, plus a patio with a table and two chairs and a sofa. It was very peaceful and relaxing. There was a laundry downstairs which was free to use, and the breakfast each morning delivered by Ned was v nice. Everything was perfect, but the only suggestion I would make is that they provide a jug of water in the fridge, and some milk for coffee/ tea.

We stayed for 3 nights in October and loved the Beach Shack. Perfect location, close (less than 10 minute walk) to bars and restaurants but out of town enough for it to be really peaceful. Our ‘shack’/room was great, huge comfy bed, good bathroom with a great shower and a small kitchenette with fridge and a table and chairs and a small table and chairs outside looking over the plunge pool. Ned and Adrian were great hosts, they gave us a couple of excellent recommendations for eating out (Bang Bang and The Mez Club) and provided the fabulous daily breakfasts that are included. Free use of the laundry facilities was very much appreciated. Not the cheapest place in Byron but lots of reasons to spend a bit more and stay here.

Awesome location, close to the beach and centre, yet quiet. Spacious, bright accommodation on the top floor. Very private with own front door access. Plus, plus is Ned’s breakfast, 9am every morning, great start to the day. Will definitely go again!

We had a wonderful stay in the Beach Shack. Very comfortable, modern and spacious. A lot of thought has gone into creating the accommodation with a lovely Byron vibe. The town was only a 10 minute stroll and superb access to the beach. I realised I’d left my iPad behind when we checked out. Ned and Adrian posted in onto me in Airlie Beach. I am immensely grateful for such a 5 * service.

We loved every moment ! From the moment we arrived, Ned and Adrian couldn’t have been any more accommodating and helpful to make our stay a 5 star experience! Great location with amazing breakfast, the best salmon rolls we ever had was just one part of it .The rooms were private and had the Byron feel to it .We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Byron now and look forward to going back again soon!

Ned and Adrian were wonderful attentive hosts. My garden room was modern, clean and bright with lovely furnishings and a super comfy bed. I enjoyed delicious breakfasts on my deck each morning; each one different than the day before. The beach is close by and the town is just a 10 minute walk away. I loved the extra touches (beach towels, umbrella, and free use of the laundry facility). 5 nights were not enough. I wanted to move in.

My boyfriend and I just stayed for a week the Beach Shack and had the time of our lives. The Garden room was stunning; complete with a comfy bed, sparkling bathroom, and gorgeous day bed on the outdoor deck!! The hosts Ned and Adrian are beyond terrific; both were effortlessly friendly, and offered up personalised advice on where to go during our stay. Every restaurant they recommended we loved! We have to mention the complimentary breakfasts which were delicious. Adrian and Ned made each meal totally vegan for me with no fuss! The location is ideal, with just a two minute walk to the beach. Everything in the Main Street is at your fingertips, but you feel totally secluded from the crowds. Thanks for the great stay!!

We absolutely loved The Beach Shack. Ned and Adrian were wonderful hosts. We chose it for location but loved it for it's home-away-from-home feel. The breakfast each morning was healthy and delicious, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, great wifi and air-conditioning and you'd never know that other guests were there! So quiet and comfortable while only a 10-minute walk to town. Belongil beach is just 2 blocks away and absolutely gorgeous! If we are ever in Byron Bay again, we will definitely stay here!

Absolutely gorgeous accommodation: comfortable and classy room, super-friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and easy access to anywhere and everywhere in Byron while still being in a quiet nook. I had just completed five days at a yoga retreat and was kind of dreading emerging into the world, but the peace and beauty of the Beach Shack made it easy. Loved it and dreaming about going back ...

We had a love,y relaxing but personalised stay at this lovely property. Upgraded to a premium unit, we were extremely comfortable in the nicest bed and our peaceful, well appointed suite. Each day the breakfast was a fabulous surprise, and no two were the same. The managers/ owners are lovely people and personalised our experience. Great location handy to town and right by the beach. We will be back.
