An instant upgrade on arrival is always music to ones ears and Veronica delivered.
We're off to a wonderful relationship and holiday.

Can I please let everyone who reads this know that I actually booked for Christmas Day for 4 nights however on Xmas eve I was unexpectedly admitted to hospital. At the n'th hour we had no alternative other than to cancel or postpone. Veronica made our heartache so much more tolerable and during what must have been peak period ever so kindly offered to transfer the deposit in full to a time I had fully recovered. That was one of the kindest gestures that has ever happened to me, thank you sweetheart x

We loved out spacious Beach Hut "Pandanus". Kettle, toaster, mini fridge (was well cold!), bath, king bed, beach towels, incense lit after each clean, balcony with two chairs and table. Tasteful. Included breakfast that you picked up from the communal kitchen each morning at 8am.

So many positives for you to be treated by Veroncia.

We do have a couple of recommendations. I'm quite a private person and love a balcony as much as the next person. The Beach Shacks have a public track behind them to gain access to the beach. If the fence was a few feet higher that would make the experience more private.

More comfortable balcony furniture for Pandanus is a must as the chairs were not plush enough to team with the inside comforts.

The pool, small, functional and lounge chairs is lovely, however the water is freezing. It was windy at the beach two of our days and it would have been lovely to retreat to the resort pool, laze, share drinks and have a dip - albeit it involved a few deep breaths, in and out rather than lingering and splashing about.

Overall Veronica was very concerned for her clients health, welfare and comfort - the sort of hostess you always hope greets you on arrival.

I'd love to be marooned here time and time again. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

The beach shack was a great place. The room was big, super clean and equipped with all the required appliances. The breakfast was delicious. The site is strategically located. Five minutes walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes from the city centre. Veronica was a great host she was always available and willing to accommodate some of our requests. I recommend this place when you visit Byron Bay.

We had three nights for a getaway. From the moment we arrived we were Made to feel very welcomed. Our room was the garden room with a large comfortable space including a lovely veranda overlooking the garden. The bed was so comfortable and a king size.
Large walk in bathroom and shower.
The breakfast was amazing and so delicious. Each morning we were served something different. The chef makes his own bread and cereal. The omelettes were amazing. Very generous serving.
Geoff the property manager made us feel so welcome and always had time to chat and help us.
Washing machine and dryer was available at no charge.
The position to the town was a ten minute easy stroll.
A quiet location.
Would definitely choose this gem again .
Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

The Beach Shack was a fantastic place to stay for a few days of rest and relaxation. The location is great if you want to be able to explore the area by foot with the town centre about a 10 minute walk away.
The lovely host, Veronica, has put a lot of thought into ensuring that guests are provided with everything they need for an enjoyable holiday. We particularly enjoyed the generous breakfast tray, the assortment of goodies changed daily but all were fresh and delicious.
We hope to visit again!

We enjoyed our little babymoon getaway in Byron Bay. There are a handful of bungalows for you to book. We had the garden view one, nice little balcony at the back right we’re the path is that leads you onto the beach. The shack is well kept, clean and has nice finishing touches. Brekky every morning is freshly made and with local ingredients. The heated pool is another plus.

Absolutely loved our week at The Beach Shack. We were super comfortable and the hosts Geoff and Steve went out of their way to make sure we wanted for nothing. The venue itself is modern, tasteful and very clean. The location is an easy 3 minute walk to the beach. Hands down a favourite part of our stay was Steve’s delicious homemade breakfasts and morning teas. We were so satisfied each morning we never ended up buying lunch throughout our stay. Highly recommend The Beach Shack and we can’t wait to return.

Geoff and Steven were wonderful hosts. The room was clean and tidy. The location was excellent, walking distance to the centre of town. The breakfast each morning was very convenient and there was a different selection of food each day. It was the perfect space for the two of us for three nights. Would highly recommend.

Hi Lauren, Thank you for staying with us at the Beach Shack, we are absolutely thrilled that you enjoyed your three day break. We think the location of the property is perfect for a stay in Byron Bay , as you say walking distance from town and we think just far enough away from the bustling town centre to ensure a peaceful and quiet nights sleep. Seems you enjoyed our fresh and homemade breakfasts. We hope you'll be able to escape the city again look forward to being able to welcome you back. Best Wishes Geoff

We had a lovely and relaxing 4-night stay at The Beach Shack last week. You will be very comfortable in the immaculate little “shacks”. It is in a great location, only a short walk into town or to the beach. We walked every morning on the beach enjoying seeing the locals walking their dogs etc. A very a delicious breakfast is available every morning and a home-made treat is place in in your room for a little snack every day.
Veronica and her team made us feel very welcome and we will definitely be back next time we are coming back to Byron Bay.

We enjoyed our stay at The Beach Shack (Cape Byron Shack) immensely. What a great location! Walk into town, walk to the beach, see the train go by (or ride on it to Stone and Wood), on site parking, great wi fi - and dog friendly too. Fantastic to look forward to an interesting, different and healthy breakfast each morning. It was also great during these Covid times to cook in your own kitchen and be able to access the well provisioned chef’s kitchen for anything else needed. Thank you Veronica and Thorsten for looking after us.

Photos are Veronica’s breakfast on our last morning (thank you Veronica), the bathroom, bedroom, work nook, chef’s kitchen, the train, happy dog relaxing. We will not hesitate to return one day and fully recommend the Beach Shacks at 2 Dryden Avenue especially to people who are looking for somewhere nice to stay when they are travelling with their dog.

Also don't hesitate to stay during Covid if you can with Veronica's enhanced cleaning, safety precautions and Covid cancellation policy.

Vicki and Mike (3 nights July 2021)

I’ve stayed in Byron for years and the last two years I’ve stayed at the Beach Shack!
This year we stayed 10 days, it was incredible, the room was comfortable and the location is very conveniently located close to town yet away from the hustle and bustle, very quiet.

Ned and Adrian are so warm and welcoming, they both run the place very well, the room was very clean, well maintained and the daily breakfast was excellent..

We can’t wait to come back next year! Thanks for being so accommodating and kind 🍀
