Nestled amongst the peaceful settings of Belongil Beach, East on Byron is the new style of holidaying in Byron Bay. It is positioned directly opposite the beach and is just a short 15-minute stroll to the town centre. Two acres of naturally landscaped gardens frame a billabong pool. Stunningly appointed and generous in size, these 2 and 3 bedroom villas are set in the most secluded of settings. Perfect for families, groups and couples looking for a relaxed beach vacation.

We’ve stayed many times at East On Byron, it’s lovely and clean. Good pool area. we love the location right next to Treehouse restaurant and an easy 20min walk on the beach into downtown Byron. You won’t be disappointed at the price.

We loved our stay for our girls getaway. Love it's away from the busyness of Byron, yet close enough to easily pop in for dinner or groceries. The location couldn't be better - right across from the beach, a few steps from a great restaurant (Treehouse, highly recommend!), and a short drive to The Farm or The Lighthouse. There were four of us so we loved how well appointed the suite was, everything you'd want in the kitchen, two bathrooms, bbq, big patio and steps from the pool. The only suggestion we have is to have more tea/coffee in the room! We each had a tea and then it was gone! We'll be back.

We stayed in a 2br poolside villa which was large, well appointed and very comfortable. This was our first holiday with a 7mth old and we hired a high chair from the resort. The resort location is perfect - across the road from the beach and a short drive or walk into town. The resort pool was great for when the beach was too windy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for young families or couples. Thank you to Ian and his team!

Really enjoyed our stay at Easts, have tried a few different options in Byron as we often holiday there and have already booked to return. Good beds, nice furnishings, generous apartments and the one we were in was well decorated with good kitchen equipment to make life easy (restaurant bookings tough to get at the moment as Byron is extremely busy). Pool area was nice when beach windy. Having a push bike would be perfect but walking into town (especially along the beach) is doable - Byron traffic horrible over holidays so driving in the morning not recommended. Treehouse restaurant closeby is great for coffees/brekky/lunch/dinner. Nice management and a good spot, would recommend.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom town house which was very comfortable. The beach is across the road and Byron town centre is a 10 minute walk. It was nice to be away from the commercial centre but clos enough to walk there as required. The complex has a cafe which serves coffee, breakfast and lunch - all good quality. A few doors up is the Tree House bar and restaurant- also good.
We did not use the pool (winter visit) but it would be handy in the warmer months.

Spacious well equipped 2 bedroom apartment with a large balcony overlooking the resort pool. Just a caution it is on the 2nd level with only stairs available so not suitable for disabled. However the ground floor would be perfect. This is an oasis at the quiet end of Belongil Beach, only a fifteen minute walk to Byron Town Centre, another caution for families there are no lifeguards at this end. A cafe at the front for breakfast, lunch and tapas on some nights, Treehouse bar and restaurant next door.

East on Byron is in a fabulous location, a couple of minutes drive from Byron town centre. With a swimming pool at the complex and being across the road from the beach, you have the best of both worlds. It was a lovely 15 min walk along the beach to Byron town centre and walking north along the beach goes for miles. The apartment living space was the most spacious I’ve come across in holiday apartments and loved the private roof terrace. It was so tranquil looking out at the beautiful landscaped grounds. Culta (breakfast & dinner) in front and Treehouse on Belongil (breakfast, lunch, dinner) two doors down.

Great location across the street from the beach and then a pool to relax in when you don't feel like hitting the beach. Extremely comfortable apartments with all that you need including great outdoor areas as well. The bonus of a great cafe right next door too!

Absolutley beautifl location with a creek on the back of the property and beach out the front. Fantastic apartment- spacious and clean, lovely and cool. Started our weekend with a dip in the pool followed by a lovely walk along the beach- instant wind down!! Highly recommended. We will be back (and we only live 40 minutes away!)

A well set up two bedroom apartment, with a lovely outdoor area and full of all the amenities and acrutments you will need for a comfortable stay. the only negative is the second bedroom is a little small. Literally over the read to the beach and a couple of good cafes right there. Really worth considering, and a 15 minute beach walk to the centre of Byron.

How long does it take to walk to the city centre of Byron Bay?
Answer from EastByron
Byron Bay, Australia
Hi Jen, It's a lovely 20 minute walk to the heart of town, either along the beach, or by the street. Apologies for the delayed response... just saw this!
Answer from EastByron
Byron Bay, Australia
Hi Diana, Thanks for such a great question! Yes, there are two bathrooms in our Beach Houses. The whole top floor is dedicated to the main bedroom, bathroom (with a door) and a smaller sitting room with a bed. The top floor is open planned so there is no door in the main room. The pictures on our website show the configuration well in the photos. Downstairs is similar, with a bathroom and a bedroom containing a queen sized bed. Once opened planned too, two of our four Beach Houses have added doors to the downstairs room. If this is particularly ideal for your needs, just call the office direct and we can make sure we allocate one of these rooms to you. Thanks for the enquiry. East on Byron Team

Hi EeeJaay, You're friend is right! We absolutely do. Nearly all of our apartments have a bath in them except for our Beach Houses #26 and #23 (who offer disabled bathroom facilities instead) and the Byron Penthouse. Thanks for asking the question. We hope to see you soon. East on Byron Team
