My friend and I have just returned from a 1 week stay at Byron Baythers (Tallow King Suite) and we could not feel more refreshed, relaxed, happy and thankful for our time spent at this amazing accommodation! Byron Baythers has everything you could possibly require for a perfect holiday. We were impressed by the welcoming feel of the whole property, every fine detail of the newly freshened decor and styling of our room, the sun drenched courtyard, the comfy bed/spaciously elegant bathroom and the beautifully stocked shared kitchenette with fresh fruits, delightful local granola, wonderful tea and coffee. The Byron Baythers is in the perfect location to access all the wonderful restaurants of Byron Bay and a short 5 minute walk to the beach. It was also quiet, tranquil, clean and I believe one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Lastly we could not begin to thank Claire the property manager enough for her kindness, hard work, attention to detail and most importantly for the lovely daily chats!!! Exceptional all round ! We will be back ! …
Beautifully presented throughout from the entrance thru to our room. Very comfortable stylish, contemporary decor. The room and entrance were completely accessible for wheelchair users. We enjoyed the small well equipped communal kitchen area also.
Byron Baythers offers a genuine boutique luxury experience. The accommodation is spacious and very private. Best of all, the property is located within easy walking distance of the beach, cafes, restaurants, and great shopping. The on-site pool with lounges is a winner for afternoon relaxing before heading out for a delicious meal.
Beautiful guesthouse, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic location, super clean, and lovely special and extra touches. My first impression was of cleanliness, new and luxury. Staff were very helpful and didn’t mind me requesting an early check in. The extra special touches were really appreciated - from the quality ground coffee, fresh cut plants in the rooms, quality toiletries, fresh berries for breakfast, range of different milk types to cater for just about anyone, to the chocolate macadamia giftie. The rooms are very spacious, and include a sitting area. The location is perfect! Right amongst it all in town and a short walk to the beach. My stay in Byron Bay was particularly fraught, as I was there when downtown flooded. The owners let me stay an extra night free of charge and the manager and owner regularly checked in with me. I felt safe and cared for. Tips: - no need to bring food/supplies with you, as they supply all the little things as well as breakfast and you are so close to shops, restaurants and cafes. - the outdoor areas (common and private) are lovely. Get a bottle of wine from the local bottle shop and enjoy it. - be sure to check the cancellation policy. Many private guesthouses in Byron have longer than typical cancellation policies but this one is on longest I’ve seen. It could change since this review though, so just check it out. It’s not an issue provided you are aware of it. - they really have everything for you and think of everything, so just enjoy yourself when you get there!…
Lovely accommodation in the centre of Byron Bay. Access was super easy with a large spacious room with a private patio, a communal kitchenette and complimentary breakfast items (muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit and tea & coffee). The room had everything to enjoy the beach - chairs for the beach, sun umbrella, beach towels and a beach bag. The pool area is nice with a few sun loungers to sit on. The manager was always there and extremely friendly. I would happily recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a central place to stay in Byron Bay.
A coastal boutique guesthouse in the heart of Byron down a quiet back lane. We stayed in the Tallows Room with its outside courtyard. Loved the stay. Unpretentious and the booking staff were so lovely. We love walking to everything when ever we wanted to, including the beach. Thankyou
Bright, clean, comfortable highly recommended. The staff were most helpful & accommodating. Breakfast & kitchen facilities were supplied. Close to centre of town & beach was a 5 minute walk, with many cafes & restaurants to choose from.
Easy walk to town and beach in a quiet street. Bright, comfortable and very clean. A blind on the bathroom window would be a nice addition - lots of lovely light comes in, but felt a bit exposed to the apartment opposite at night-time. Parking is on site, which I'm sure is at a premium in Byron. Loved the fresh fruit and breakfast options. Friendly helpful management. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.
Comfy bed, clean facilities, shared kitchenette with nespresso, tea, milk options, muesli and fruit options - so good! Justine at reception helped us out with everything we needed and the location is unbeatable.
Reluctant to give Byron Bathers a good review because I don't really want to have anyone else staying there - we stayed in the 2 bedroom Residence, which is huge and a fabulous space - you can't ask for a better location (unless you actually want sea views or to be across the road from the beach). Everything about the place is perfect - it is so central, yet also so quiet. Incredibly well appointed, comfortable, stylish and with all the amenities you might need. And still only about 500m walk to the beach anyway.
