The location is excellent. You can walk to beach, restaurants and cafes and shops and Aldi a 2 min walk away.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved hiring the electric bikes for a day and exploring the local area and price was very cheap for this ($25 for the day).
Would highly recommend this accommodation.
We stayed in room 16 which was a twin studio apartment. The kitchen was great, had everything you need to cook proper meals if you wish. The beds were quite hard which made it a bit difficult to sleep, but overall we were very impressed with the room.
Definitely recommend hiring the electric bikes for $25 a day! Lots of fun!
The biggest drawcard is probably the spacious apartments in a convenient but quiet location in the Byron town centre, with underground parking to avoid the street parking fees. It's only a few minutes walk to the main shopping area, and slightly further to the Main Beach. If you're on a budget the in-room cooking facilities are also a plus.
Given its location, the rooms don't have views. The pool area is a bit basic and there are some aspects of the complex that are a bit dated; and the carpark can be tight for manoeuvring.
One issue in my room was a skylight above the loft bedroom. It had a blind to stop the morning sun waking you up, but this was awkward to access and it looked like a tool to assist with this was broken, meaning you had to lean out some distance over the drop to the ground floor which was not entirely safe. Hopefully this can be rectified with a safer option.
However I had no issues with the overall facilities, cleanliness and so forth. The price at the time of my stay was definitely competitive compared to some of the more fancy accommodation, and the size of the room was definitely much better than many similarly priced motels nearby.
This place is a bit pricey for what is, but honestly I think comparatively, it's the best of the bunch. It's close enough to the city center without being too close (that place is loud at night and I can't imagine being at one of the other spots). The room was great, it had everything we wanted. Staff were so friendly and the pool reminded me of family motel trips.
Woke up at 8,00an by drilling from a shop next door being renovated. View from room 2 is a wall with some bushes in front and a small gas tank to the side room is large and spacious but very dark inside . Bed is ok
Overall room is no where near worth what we paid for it. Car parking is available and checking in was easy
Very disappointed
Appartments have everything you could need for your trip and the place is spotlessly clean. The bed and even the sofa bed were very comfortable. The air con and ceiling fans were a blessing to cool us after a day exploring in the heat.
The pool is just Gorgeous and our family loved swimming in it.
The underground parking is also a major bonus as parking in byron is controlled with parking restrictions.
We'll book central byron appartments the next time we're in byron!
Well appointed, small kitchen, bathroom and lounge area with bed located on a mezzanine floor. Ceiling fans on both levels. Supermarket in next block.
Location is really central and close to shop and some amazing restaurants. Try Bang Bang (fabulous Asian) just up on the next corner and The Mez club which is only a few minutes walk. Great coffee just around the corner at Combi. Pre wedding drinks held night before the wedding just a short stroll away at the Byron Hotel which overlooks the water. Wedding was held up at a function centre on Nightcap Ridge and whilst it did rain did not dampen the celebration. The double decker bus trip was a highlight.
Following morning went to brunch out at the Farm, just a few KM's out of town. Easy stroll to the beach and even though the weather was not wonderful still a magnificent stroll. Most afternoons spent strolling around town and beach. Did have a round of golf at Byron Bay Golf course, stunning course, poor score.
Staff extremely friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.
The room is a good size, with a comfortable, king sized bed, living area and a usable kitchen.
Parking is free and easily accessible.
We also got a call on the day we we’re checking in to let us know that our room was ready early in case we were in town.
Overall we were happy with the place and would recommend it.
My kids loved the loft setting. The apartment could sleep 6 but is quite tiny with1 bathroom. There was a super king in the loft.a double(sofa bed) downstairs and 1 extra single in cabinet if required.
The bed and pillows were great. The room well maintained and clean.
The kitchenette has everything you could ask for!
The location was also perfect, very central and close to everything!
They also provide free parking underground, which was a huge plus.
We would definitely stay here again!
"Room 16 - located next to the entrance so we got noise from people coming in and out of the apartments. Also from bins being collected"Read full review
