Before the swarm of festival and food tourism hit the shire Byron residents had a lifestyle of tranquility and serenity beside the ocean and its surrounding wetland forests. The Rainforest Resort takes me back to that time with its spacious but low key beach shack style. You won't find any stressed out, uptight, overworked employees here, just the friendly and...

My family of 4 stayed for 5 nights . We loved this place as it was so peaceful and quiet . Loved sitting on our verandah listening to the birds playing cards, having a beer and chatting. It represents what Byron bay is about, so beautiful in the rainforest. Cabin was huge, private and had everything you needed. A little...

We stayed for 2 nights and found the cabins very comfortable and well equipped. The location was quiet and it was just a short walk to the beach. The manager was extremely helpful with the local area .

Do the cabins need updating? Absolutely. They are, however, spacious, practical, have everything you need and most importantly, they're reasonably clean. Situated in a rainforest setting, you will not find cabins with a more peaceful ambience. The sound of bellbirds outside your window as you lay in your bed leaves you with a satisfying sense of being close to nature...

I have visited Byron Bay many times and have stayed here twice. This is my preferred place to stay as it represents what Byron is all about - providing a relaxed atmosphere in amongst the beauty of the rainforest. It is super quiet as the cabins are very well spaced and you can sit on your own private balcony and...

Nice little spot, accommodation cabin my Family had was old, needs a lot of renovation, but Owner did ask if we wanted to see another room, pool needed cleaning and spa doesn't work, camp kitchen needs updating.Would definitely go back, but would check out the other cabins first.

The resort is currently undergoing refurbishment but notwithstanding that the facilities are excellent for chilling out and management is really friendly. We used the golf club restaurant immediately across the road where we enjoyed a delicious meal.

My daughter and I stayed for a few nights in a one bedroom cabin with our dogs. The place was peaceful and relaxing. The owners were very friendly and we would highly recommend the resort. The resort is located in the heart of a rainforest and close to Byron Bay and the beach.

We stayed at Byron Bay Rainforest Resort for 2 nights in July 2016. Lady on reception was very helpful and the owner is lovely. Given it was Winter, we didn't have any problems with Mosquitoes but I can only imagine what they'd be like in Summer. They provide coils and the patio bit of your cabin is behind fly screen!...

We stayed for two nights in the one bedroom cabin with our dog. The staff are very helpful and do what ever they can to make your stay in byron the best possible. The resort is pet friendly and well set out for pets. Very relaxing feel amongst the rainforest highly recommend staying here.
