This b&b includes tropical fruit for breakfast, free access to the kitchen and living room all day, and a wonderful sunny deck surrounded by a Balinese garden. The location is very central to town and the bed in the king room is very comfortable.

Stayed in the King Room. We couldn't have been happier. Everything was perfect right down to the ridiculously comfy bed, and well pressured shower. The 'living area' in the King Room makes for a relaxing night in with a DVD, if you didn't want a restaurant (all in walking distance). Breakfast was fresh and healthy and there was a lovely...

We booked this based on the TripAdvisor reviews. It's certainly not cheap. We arrived here for 3 nights after driving down from Brisbane to find a note for us on the front door saying the host was out and we should let ourselves in and take the first room on the RHS. Not a problem, but a harbinger of what...

I have been unable to come up with a reason why you would wait 8 months to post your negative review. Bad day I guess, we do all have them. I am so sorry that you felt that way. I usually have the opposite response from people. Perhaps you looked busy that morning and I try not to intrude on...

We booked last minute with Hilary at this B and B, as other plans had fallen through... We were so pleasantly surprised, when shown to our beautiful room, which was charming spacious and clean. The breakfast laid out each morning was perfect with fresh fruit, teas, coffee, a selection of breads, and the house was quiet , peaceful and Hilary...

A warm welcome from Hilary upon entering this lovely house and you know that you'll enjoy you stay. Lovely decor, comfy beds, well appointed bathrooms, huge relaxing deck, functional kitchen and cosy lounge room all within ten minute walk of downtown Byron and just another five minutes to the beach. My daughter and I made our first visit to Byron Bay, and shall definitely be retuning. Burns at Byron is the perfect place to stay and walk everywhere! Room 4 was large and loved the decor! Continental breakfast was so good, I bought 4 loaves of bread from the same bakery! Hillary is the perfect host, with her warm and...

We recently stated for one night and loved it. The location is ideal - close enough to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet. The place is idyllic, great decor and outdoor area. The place is spotlessly clean, comfortable and relaxed. Hillary is a fantastic host, she went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating. The...

Stayed for one night - in room 3 with use of shared bathroom. The house itself is decorated in such a beauty way with so many lovely artefacts - same for the garden. Quiet location away from the main road but only a five min walk to it and the beach. Great breakfast in the morning - the muesli was...

I am sorry for this. I truly do understand. I try to interact as much as possible with each guest. Often if I cannot be there at their arrival I will make a point to catch them later on. Or I usually see them at breakfast. Its tricky as the B&B is a one man show! I had several personal...
