My wife and I stayed for 4 days in May - first time in Byron for ages. We were pleased to be out of the rat race downtown and found Spirit Of Bali to be relaxed, casual yet classy...and only a short walk from the shops/restaurants and the beach. The owner couldn't have been more helpful: she even booked the...

This was our third stay and we just loved it! This time we rented the whole house with our family and we even brought our dog with us. It was a great holiday. The new manager is lovely, easy to deal with, and has great attention to detail. Both the house and service is impeccable, from arriving at 6pm to...

Off we went on a getaway trip to Byron. We booked online and arrived at the guesthouse to be greeted by our host Jessica, the new manager or owner, she was gorgeous and very friendly. Our room was stylishly fitted out with an ornate netted double bed and a single bed, crisp ironed white linen, table and chairs, a wardrobe...

We picked this place off the internet and it looked good in the photos. FOr this price - we thought we would live like kings for a few days in lovely Byron Bay. We arrived to find that the owner was rude, impatient and more concerned about getting to a social gathering than showing us our room and the facilities....

Fantastic house with a Balinese feel. Our room has a 4 poster Bali timber bed with romantic netting. Very friendly host and other guests also very nice. The house has a great verandah with daybed and lovely breeze which is a great place to read a book. There is a great corner shop called The Top Shop which does the...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights one weekend. We greatly wished we had seen these reviews before we had booked, we were extremely disappointed. When we arrived the toilet had a foul smell coming from it; turns out it hadn’t been cleaned from previous guests, it was disgusting. There were cobwebs in the corner and ants going...

The house is on the corner of a busy street. There is no AC so the windows need to be open and it is quite loud. Sleeping was difficult with all the noise. The room was musty and small as all the rooms seemed to be. The room we saw promoted and requested is actually the owners apartment (the upstairs...

I selected guest house from the internet, I visited with my son and his partner. We required seperate bedding configurations and were given the room with a day bed and a double. We had our own little private court yard and a lovey large private bathroom with a claw bath with glass doors opening onto the garden. The bedroom was...

A wonderful relaxed atmosphere where you can feel right at home. I've noticed some O/S visitors condemning the place but I found it excellent. We had no problems with mossies or spiders.(Although it IS Australia so if they were around we are well used to them!) Rooms were well appointed, clean, welcoming and YES, even had mossie nets. Loved the...

My weekend at Byron Bay Guest House was extremely relaxing. It has beautiful Balinese day beds on the front and back verandas. It is surrounded by big beautiful trees, has a gorgeous buddha garden, its very peaceful while you can still hear the sound of the ocean and only a five minute walk to the beach and CBD. Byron Bay...
