If I could live at this property, I would. It is beyond beautiful. The staff are lovely. It has everything you need and is so close to everything you need. I stayed there one night with my partner and the second night alone. The bed was incredibly comfy. It was nice to stay in a place that was not a hotel or motel. From the moment I walked in I was relaxed. I will be back as often as I can get there.

Room Tip: I stayed in the Seafarers room. All would be equally amazing. It depends on the size you want.

We arrived with some trepidation having booked a guest house rather than a hotel or apartment. The manager Jamie was excellent in his communication. We booked the smallest room but it was , in fact lovely. The vibe is out of this world - very relaxed and great attention to detail. You approach the property which is hidden behind a blanket of foliage a small unassuming path leads you to a small set of steps that elevate you to the most welcoming veranda set out on two aspects of the property. The rooms are set off either side of the long hallway. The attention to detail is displayed in the most simple, but impactive ways! Each room has fresh milk within the hallway fridge clearly labelled within a custom room jar. Fresh water, extra cutlery, crockery and extras (such as forgettable items, toothpaste etc) are all set out in the hallway. The noise was an issue for me. You could really hear people walking outside your room and the next door bathroom very clearly. Obviously the way the rooms have been divided in this property some bathrooms back on to bedrooms and as such water hammer can be heard when other people use showers etc, Much more than in other places we have stayed. We had an issue with no hot water on the first morning, and no milk being provided the second morning but Jamie resolved these issues quickly. Jamie is exceptionally attentive and is obviously the reason why this beautiful house continues to create wonderful memories for so many. Overall we highly recommend this place.

We stayed in room number 2 (Can't remember name) for two nights. Lovely room with a comfy bed, modern bathroom and top of the range walk in shower. Plenty of information provided in the room about things to do in Byron. Guesthouse is about a 10 minute walk from the main street which is great as it's super quiet. Other reviews say the walls are thin so it's noisy, this did not disturb us at all and wasn't particularly bad.

A lovingly restored guesthouse with an equally accommodating host! Rooney was only too happy to take feedback and give suggestions for must-sees in town. I stayed in the newly-updated Queen Azul room complete with spa bath and bay window. The room had all the necessary amenities and provided a wonderful space to return to at the end of the day. Most guests are respectful of the thin walls and kept to themselves/the noise level down at night. It was also lovely to sit on the communal verandah and read in the afternoon sunshine. * Just a side note: it is 15-20 mins to the main drag and a walk in the dark at night time, or a short Uber ride!

Booking and communications regarding the check-in process was great and easy to follow. The room was decorated very well and very comfortable. The walls are a little thin and you could hear the visitors in the next room. However the noise levels were not intrusive and we had a very quiet, relaxing stay. The main street (and restaurants) is a little bit of a walk, but all flat and not too bad. Parking is street only - but we didn't have a problem finding a spot. Recommend this guest house if you're heading to Byron.

We stayed in the room with the external bathroom which was fine (only a short walk to the end of the hallway) The building itself is a classic dwelling, beautifully set in a lovely garden. The location is great, nice and quiet and not too far to the beach. The room opened up onto a great veranda, and had a very comfortable bed. It was clean with lots of windows. Loved our stay here.

As in a previous review we also arrived after 5pm and all instructions for check-in were left in an envelope in the hallway of this lovely old Queenslander. We stayed in the Queen Azul room which was large, light and airy with a huge bathroom and spa bath. There was a handy communal fridge/freezer just outside our room where we could put any items to be kept cold. Nearby were baskets of cutlery, plates, bowls, for simple self-catering and also swimming towels. The verandah was a lovely spot to have breakfast or an evening glass of wine before an easy 10 minute stroll to the town and beach. We were going to use the bikes one day but couldn't find a suitable lock for the only two that were left so didn't want to take the risk of losing them. I would highly recommend Arcadia House as it's away from the bustle of the town but close enough to enjoy all that Byron has to offer.

We arrived at the property late, but were left a key and instructions about everything which made it a very easy 'check-in'. We stayed at the Seafarers room which was absolutely gorgeous! It was roughly a ten minute walk to the city, but it was nice to stay on a more quieter street. I would definitely stay there again and can't recommend it enough!

Visiting Byron Bay was perfect in the Arcadia House. It is a traditional Aussie bungalow with beach decor. Loved the mosquito netting in the rooms. We stayed in Gone Fishing and even though there was no room window the light from the bathroom was fine. Plus the bathroom was big and beautiful. I took pictures for our own condo planned remodel. The manager was extremely accommodating and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed the easy walk or bike ride to town then our own Happpy Hour on the porch. We’re so glad we discovered Arcadia House!,,

My Husband and I stayed in the Turtle Diver room. It had a king size bed, good size bathroom and we found it to be quite. It was a short walk to the beach and into town. Easy access to everything we wanted to do. Inside the room was a list of places to eat and things to do in the area. Arcadia house seemed to match Byron's Bay layed back feel.
