We decided to try the new Big 4 caravan and mobile home park recently. A great choice. This is a new park with exceptional facilities.
Located above the bend in the Myall River and at the back of the Bulahdelah Town Centre it is well located for a few days pause on a journey.
Great for kayaking on the river leading to the Myall Lakes, Spectacular sunsets over the Barrington Tops National Park mountain range, Walks in the area including the challenging and historic hill beside the town.
Facilities are first class with ensuited shower / toilets, a great games room with billiard table racked and ready, plus table tennis, a large communal lounge / TV room with verandah over the water, pool and play area for children and top hosts.
Motorhome and caravan sites are large and flat.
we will make this a regular stop over on future journeys. It s worth a stop.

Our brief stay at BIG4 River Myall Holiday Resort was nothing short of AMAZING!!
Kim and Gary and their staff were super friendly on arrival & our request to change site closer to amenities was easily accommodated. The park is very well planned out, beautifully landscaped gardens & manicured lawns, with very large easy to access powered sites (standard sites are a generous 10m x 13m). The amenities are extremely modern, spacious & absolutely IMMACULATE, hands down the cleanest we have ever experienced whilst caravanning! Even our 7 & 10 year old children were impressed by the space & cleanliness, & they are usually only worried about pool, play areas & of course WiFi. The shower cubicle rooms are a great idea for families & compromise of an individual toilet, shower, hand basin & hand dryer in each. In addition, there are spotless stand alone male/ female toilet blocks with individual Dyson hand dryers.
Other accommodation inc. modern villas & glamping tents. Other facilities inc. a large fully enclosed camp kitchen/ living/ games area with surrounding deck, a laundry room, dog wash, pool with slide, jumping pillow, BBQ area, playground & tennis court.
The park is in walking distance to the main st, cafes, supermarket & Bowling Club (where we had an excellent meal, I recommend the sticky pork belly salad)! All locals we encountered in Buladelah were welcoming & friendly, it seems like a really nice spot.
Power is metered but please do not let that deter you, we paid $1.60 for the night.
We had such a pleasant experience at BIG4 River Myall and will be back with our family again for many years to come I’m sure!
Well done & thank you to the team!

We had a river view site over the new year. Site 19. The grounds are just immaculate, facilities clean and the sites are large. The owners are just lovely and are often seen working hard around the grounds and cleaning. Facilities such as the camp kitchen and large bathrooms (with individual shower, toilet and basin) are the best we have seen in any park so far and well looked after. Pet friendly park too. Kayaking area and boardwalk for easy access to the Myall River and there is also good pool with a waterslide for the kids. A quiet and relaxing park with no late night or early noise even during the school holiday period!

Location is a good base for exploring surrounding national parks and Myall Lakes with easy drives to Foster or Seal Rocks for beach day trips.

All staff were very helpful during our stay. We will definitely be back to this great park.

Whilst there is no doubt this park is well equipped we have an issue with the management's inflexible booking policy. We used the NSW Stay vouchers for a family getaway in the first week of the Easter school holidays 2022. Anyone who lives on the NSW east coast will know the rain has been falling in "once in a generation volumes" through late summer and early autumn so we closely followed the weather forecast for our upcoming holiday. A week out and in the midst of a severe wet weather pattern we requested a change to the booking date. Not a cancellation, not a refund, simply a credit so we could stay at a later date (ie October school holidays). We were flatly denied this request and told that they require 3 WEEKS CANCELLATION NOTICE due to the booking being in a holiday period. To further rub our faces in it we were told the weather "would be fine" anyway for the week we were planning to stay. Well guess what, it wasn't fine, the heavens opened and we were forced to abandon camp 1 day into our 4 day stay as did a vast majority of the campers. We can handle camping in inclement weather and have done so on many occasions. Some empathy shown by the park management in these extreme and unprecedented circumstances would have been appreciated. We shan't be back

Thanks Natalie Evans for the feedback. Our records show that you notified us 5 days prior to arrival. The chances of us booking that exact 3 days would be very slim. Terms and Conditions are put in place to protect both guests and our business. During this past school holiday break, we received over 20 cancellations due to COVID, to which we gave the guests involved a full credit as per our T&C’s. Our T&C’s (are comparable with most other tourist parks) don’t allow changes in school holiday periods with such short notice. As you would be aware, we are a fairly new park that has been operating for just over 2 years. It has been an extremely challenging time with forced shutdowns and sickness.

We stayed three days for the Australia Day Long weekend. Despite being high season and fully booked. You could not hear or see kids and dogs very peaceful and a tranquil location on the Myall River. We had a lovely river view site.
The amenities were exceptional, new and very well maintained. The camp kitchen is the best I've seen. Gary, Kim and the team at Big 4 Bulahdelah are the friendliest people we have come across.

This Caravan/Holiday park would have to be the best we have stayed in.
We occupied one of the Villas which is appointed with the best of everything, bedding, appliances, even a dishwasher to make life so relaxing. They are so spacious with most having 2 bedrooms with an ensuite each. The grounds are perfect with wide flat roads making access so easy into sites and also have a row of beautiful Glamping tents along the river's edge which has a lovely wooden walkway to fish off launch your canoe or standup paddle board. There are games room including a theatrette, spacious swimming pool plus a fenced off playground for toddlers. In addition to this there is an immaculate community area with a huge kitchen and lounge area all surrounded by a wide deck. The staff are the owners who obviously take great pride in their new venture and are only too happy to accommodate you how ever they can. Highly recomnend this venue for everyone which is so close to town centre where you can enjoy relaxing country atmosphere, retail therapy and great food at the bakery and the Bulahdelah Hotel literally around the corner. Will certainly make this a regular getaway break for us only 3hrs from Sydney so a good break either travelling north or south.

Shortly after arriving around 3pm Fri,I noticed the glass sliding door could not be locked. I spoke to the manager who had a quick look but could not fix it. He told us that as the sliding screen door lock was working this would have to do. I then asked if we could have access to the second bedroom which was locked as we sleep in seperate beds. He advised it would cost us an extra $30 dollars a night for the extra bedding. He even refused to open up the second bedroom for us to use as luggage storage. We paid a premium price for a 2 bedroon cabin for 2 people. The booking conditions did not advise that you would be charged extra for the second person if they wanted to utilise a seperate bed. This was advertised as a 2 bedroom cabin when in fact it was virtually a 1 bedroom cabin as the second bedroom was locked. To me this is criminal. As a result we were left concerned for the security of our possesions when we went out and were concerned for our own safety of a night as we could not lock the main door. Having to leave our empty esky and some bags in the living area certainly took away the ambiance and enjoyment of the cabin as did the lack of security.

Picked this spot as we were travelling with friends that needed a dog friendly caravan park. Didn’t really know much about the amenities. Well let me tell you, everything is super modern and very well maintained.

Great camp kitchen/lounge with a desk that overlooks the river. Huge games room with pool tables, ping pong table and a tv. Big pool with a slide, AND an 18 hole putt putt course.

The amenities block have huge ensuite style rooms (6 if I remember correctly) perfectly for families with young ones so you can all go in together.

And their powered sites have adopted a “pay for use” approach. Instead of hiking up the rates to cover the power, you pay for what power you use instead. My stay was $0.72.

Kim and Gary we an absolute class act, and we will be back!

Seriously, $1.45 for metered power on a cold winter’s night with the air con running most of the time and the power and hot water on, is nothing. The staff are helpful, the amenities new and very clean and the showers, en-suite. The van sites are huge, you don’t unhitch unless you want to and the camp kitchen with it’s attached lounge, ovens, hot plates, bbq’s and wrap around terrace over the river, is spectacular. If you think you need it, it’s there. It is without fault and we will stay here again. The grandkids loved it, we loved it, it’s special.

Fantastic, Award well deserved. This park is up there with the best ever caravan parks we have stayed at in our 30 years of travelling.
This was my first trip doing all the driving as hubby has Parkinsons and I need to learn how to do it all so we can continue to travel no matter what happens.
Kim was very helpful, and Gary made parking the van really easy for me. I never knew reversing the van could be so simple. I was able to stay hitched up due to their long sites. Thank you so much Gary.
This park is well laid out, amenities are very modern, roomy and clean. It's like having your own bathroom (wish our bathroom at home was that big). Gardens are beautifully maintained; they even have a lovely doggie wash if you're travelling with fur babies. Easy stroll to the shops to stock up on groceries or grab a treat at the bakery.
We loved it so much we stayed several nights again on our return trip and will be back in the future.
