Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I can’t talk enough about this place, views just marvelous, staff couldn’t do enough for us. The food was amazing and very fresh. Did l say very clean place. Fire place in all sitting areas. One of the staff went outside with us to say good bye. I’m happy to return there anytime.

The stunning scenery was accompanied by great hosts, delicious food and a comfortable room. The hosts sourced local produce for our lovely breakfast, and were very friendly and helpful. We arrived in time for a delightful high tea and wonderful entertainment on piano, along with great conversation with the hosts and other guests. I would recommend Menabillie Manor to anyone looking for a relaxing break

Very accommodating couple (John and Suzy). We had a small child with us and this was no problem for them. Would highly recommend staying there as the location is very close to town (15 min walk) and the rooms are of a high standard. Great food and company! Thanks again

Beautiful house and lovely complimentary inclusions such as wine and cheese on arrival, high tea on Saturday. Close enough to town to walk. Delicious breakfast. Felt very well looked after. A great weekend getaway

This was a beautiful property, we were made fell welcome from start to finish of our 2 night stay. John and Suzy were wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Tulip wing with our 2 teenage daughters, the room was very spacious. Our host were only too happy to meet our every wish. John especially was up for a chat at every chance, from the guided tour of the house when we arrived to breakfast on the last morning. The food was very nice from the cheese platter to the home cooked breakfast each morning and the high tea on Saturday afternoon. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the wall to wall white carpet, as it was a wet weekend, I thought how do they keep the carpet so clean. It was a bit stressfull making sure your shoes were spotlessly clean after each trip to the car. I am aware that Bowral is a very popular place for weekend trips from Sydney but all in all I found the tariff for this property a little on the high side.

John & Susy were excellent hosts. From the cheese & wine platter on arrival to the hearty cooked breakfast's using their fresh farmed eggs, you were made to feel welcome. Nothing was a problem for them & they were very obliging, even taking us into town for dinner. Large bedrooms, soft queen size bed, double shower with great water pressure. Excellent views into Bowral township. Very quiet location.

We stayed at this amazing B&B in Bowral for our weekend trip from Sydney. On Friday we were greeted by hosts John and Suzy with a wine and cheese plate. Our room had a nice view of the surrounding gardens - it was extremely clean, comfortable with nice amenities. John and Suzy were excellent hosts - the continental and hot breakfast each morning was delicious - the dining area/ fire place room has beautiful views over Bowral - a great place to relax while you start your day. On saturday John and Suzy host an afternoon tea for all the guests - a really nice way to wrap up the afternoon. John and Suzy are kind and generous hosts - they truly care about giving you a great experience. We would highly recommend Menabillie Manor to anyone staying in Bowral.
