This hotel thinks about you!.. I received a text en route advising me of our room number and door code.. easy peasy..
So contactless check in achieved. We arrived in the dark and drove past the motel twice before our headlights caught the flag at the entry. Lights please!
They recommended a local restaurant a few minutes walk away which was of the silver service/high end variety but good.
Our room was ok with a small fridge with milk and cereal left for breakfast. Nice touch.
Light switches needed a clean and I hate shampoo bottles nailed to the wall with a pump ‘barrier’ to make sure you don’t use too much but apart from that the room was well appointed. The old wall hairdryer was broken but a hand held was in the cupboard.
No undercover parking so frost removal required!
Overall a good place to stop on the way to Canberra?

Great personal welcome from Nicole the Manager lots of helpful information and clearly very proud of her Motel.
The heater was on for us the room - very welcome it was very cold in Bowral.
Lovely bed, soft towels, great toiletries, small room but everything we needed was there and we really enjoyed our stay.
Nice grounds with sculptures and a kiddies playground.

We arrived at the quaint hotel that sadly had experienced damage from heavy rains. We checked in, all looked nice to find that we had to leave an hour after arriving due to border closures re Covid. The manager was so gracious and kind and let us leave without charge. It’s so refreshing to see such kindness. Thankyou. We have safely crossed into the Victorian border without stress😋

Boutique implies a added touch … sadly the only added touch is the creative clever marketing
Our room rate was 240per night … very high for this type of simple motel
The room was old and felt a little damp .. heavy rain did not help .. and no cover between vehicle and room
The furniture filled the small room and sadly the most important item the bed was rather old and not super comfortable … (boutique implies super soft and comfy linen pillows duvet etc… sadly not)
The front door was difficult to open … it took several tries each time we arrived .. there is a gap in the door therefore a draft …
Fridge was small and old… noisey … we turned off during the night !
The motel advised a nearby restaurant for dinner … bistro social … 10/10 suggestion it was amazing

The hotel location was excellent within easy walking distance of town centre. Whilst the room was small this is not unexpected for a boutique hotel. The host was lovely and was very apologetic regarding a slightly delayed check-in.

The motel was clean and fairly modern. Easy walk into town.
I understand minimising contact with Covid but we did not see one staff member and reception was only attend 4 hours a day. We arrived after the had closed on the 2nd day (it was pouring rain all day and we were drenched) and there had been no maid service, NO WHERE DO THEY POST THIS so we were stuck with the same wet towels from the night before which had not dried. That was very aggravating, a heated towel rack would solve this easily.

I've rated very good but would prefer to rate 'good'.
The room was clean & displayed exactly as per the photos on 'booking.com' where I had read some rather mixed reviews .......all of which I have to agree with.
Our bed was rather hard ... both my Husband & I had interupted sleep because of this.
The bathroom was clean & accompanied with lovely smelling soaps etc... however the shower cubicle itself doesnt have a full functioning shower screen & therefore the floor quickly is flooded with water. The exhaust fan stopped working too. There was no where to plug in the kettle apart from the bathroom or sit the kettle on the carpeted floor.
I had read reviews about the cups being too small & they are!
However in saying all of this the rooms are very conveniently located & a short walk from Bowral central. Our room was lovely & quiet. Communication with Staff upon booking... excellent!
We stayed during the week & secured an excellent rate.
Would we stay here again.... not sure as the sleep deprivation is a massive negative for us.
I would like to make suggestions to Management should they read this review -
Perhaps add mattress toppers to the beds as many guests have commented on this topic.
The shower screens need addressing to avoid flooding the bathroom floor after 1x person uses it.
Change the tiny cups to mugs so guests can fill their hot drinks to preferred level.
